There is just no stopping this arrogant bustard! He is on par with the arrogance of Bill and Hillary. Screw the will of the people. The blowhard may be more dangerous to California and the nation after he is given the bum's rush out the door.

Corect me, but I don't think a recall was meant as a compliment.

FU, buddy, and the horse you rode in on!!!
Davis and his socialist annointed ruling class need a little lesson in Democracy 101.

((Badges?, we don gots to show no stinkin' badges!))
"42 percent of registered voters said there's a good chance they would vote for Schwarzenegger...
22 percent said there's a good chance they would vote for Bustamante...
64 percent said Davis should be removed from office, including 40 percent of Democrats."
Leaving 36% who think Davis should remain in office. So, if they think Davis should remain, I guess they will vote to replace him with Bustamente. This would give Bustamente 58% of the vote. We have a winner! Sigh.... This article isn't very clear on this point, but that seems to be the outcome they predict.

If Davis' recall is an "insult,"

Mary Carey is an obscene gesture.

Appearing on NBC with her husband, Sharon Davis said the governor is "angry because this recall is creating such havoc in the state of California." I don't know if it's just me, but having the wife come out with political remarks just makes me imagine Gray Davis wearing a frilly apron.
I can see if she said, "I love my husband and hope everyone will support him." But this is the second time I've heard of her go blah-blah-blah in a Hillary-type fashion.
Does anyone out there think her open mouth helps his cause?

Bull$hit Alert!!!!
Davis said he has "gotten the message. I understand a lot of people signed a recall." But he also called it "an insult to the 8 million people who went to the polls last November and decided I should be governor."
If you look at the results from the 2002 elections he only got 3.5 million of the 8.0 million voters who "decided he should be governor"
Ooops, I guess that little detail slipped his mind.

Gray-out Davis is an absolute idiot. If for no other reason, he should be removed because he is totally incompetent. He helped to create the energy crisis in California and he is the co-creator (along with the demwits in the Kalifornia legislature) of the California financial crisis

Granted Mary Carey IS a porn star but she has MORE respect for the voters than Gray Davis ever will.

I think Davis was reelected with 46% of the vote to his opponent's 41%. Hardly a ringing endorsement of his leadership which has gone downhill ever since, an unprecedented slide in the annals of modern politics. I hazard the opinion that no governor in American history has aroused so much widespread opposition as Davis. When 40% of his own party want to see him gone, there's no way he's gonna stay in office. He got re-elected last year cause his opponent was damaged goods. Its going to be a far different story this time around.

What surprises me is that red socialist SOB hadn't gotten rid of the recall provision the second they became dominant in California.
New York politicians don't have to worry about recalls, or annoying ballot initiatives, messing up their mafia style extortion of taxpayers.
Recalls and ballot intiatives are not allowed in New York.

Yeah, Davis duped 'em fair a square. Learning the truth insulted THEM. How dare they attempt to correct their mistake.

You can see whose advice Davis has been listening to, because this smacks of clinton's impeachment defense.
--The recall is an insult to the people who voted for me
(Davis's performance as governor is an insult to *all* Californians)
--Why don't you just let me do my job
(He should thought about doing something "positive" for California many years ago)
--They (i.e., the VRWC) are trying to overturn a legal election
(Davis's approval ratings show that a significant number of those who voted for him regret their decision)
--Waahh! It's all about me.
