"I disagree. We're not them. Indiscriminate killing if necessary, but avoiding "collateral damage" can give us a bunch of immediate allies who have been oppressed by the monsters. Not all will appreciate it, but hunting down the holdouts is OK when the rest of the populace is on our side. How exactly does vaporizing a bunch of peasants "pay back" for 911? The hijackers were well to do individuals."
Read some history. I suggest perhaps you have forgotten the events of WWII.
We are at war--and in denial. It is us or them. Which do you prefer?

I wonder how the leftist-saturated University of California, which runs LLNL, manages to assuage its conscience for helping to develop ever more powerful weapons for our military? I wonder how much of the R&D and manufacturing of these weapons systems have been offshored to our friends in the People's Republic of China?

We are at war--and in denial. It is us or them. Which do you prefer? I prefer us, and killing them all is an option. But not the only option, nor at this point the best option. The only option is winning, and I don't see killing them all as the best way right now. That could change, but appeals to WWII mean nothing. This is now.

A close to 4 decades, friend with a career service in SOS and the farm has joked that I would be a great SOS behind closed doors guy. He based that concept of my soft spoken words and thoughts like:
Pinging the Opecker Thugs and Princes of the Middle East as well as short donged Kim, the Chia head

We are at war--and in denial. It is us or them. Which do you prefer? Us, of course. But brutality is only one tool in the toolbox. I fully approve of precision munitions.
