The Bush White House learned nothing from their tangling with Dickie Pooh last year. But they do have an acquired taste for RINOs.

" . . . trying to persuade popular Sen. Dianne Feinstein to reconsider . . . "

Exactly how popular is she? She's a Class-A BS-er. Let her run and let's see how popular she is.

I'd be surprised if DiFi files her papers by 5:00 p.m today. Today is the last day to get in.

But when Arnold got in, we had no choice but to get behind him."

Phew, though it looks like they'd rather he win than have a GOP split vote throw the election to one of the rest of the cast-of-thousands.

I'd bet my last dollar in the bank Karl Rove leaned on Darrel Issa. He may lean on Bill Simon too. We'll see.

I get a kick out of how the liberal media tries to paint Arnold as unqualified for office. As far as I know, the only requirements for being governor of most states is being a citizen and resident of that state for a number of years and also be beyond a certain age. That's the way it is supposed to be, ordinary citizens taking on the reign of government for a short time, then fading back into their former lives. Career politicians are very dangerous as power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Look at fatass Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. "Qualified" people are the ones that are wrecking this country.

Arnie at least is a successful business man, he didn't make all his millions making movies. This is KALIFORNIA we are talking about where a fiscal conservative, a moderate on social issues would do well.

There is a great subtext...

Bush says, "You know, I'm a follower of American politics. I find what's going on in the State of California very interesting."

I may be off, but this to me signifies an appreciation of states' rights. Bush, as an employee of the federal government, takes here a very old stance of letting the states sort themselves out.

I don't find this point of view from Presidents in history books unless I go back before 1900. I don't know personally what the country was like then, but chronologically they were closer to the Constitution.

Ahrnold is an idiot & those who support him are larger fools.

Try reading his statements. Try reading the positions of someone like Bill Simon. Try comparing resumes. Try that.

Yes, even George Bush approves of Arnold. But then, there are people on this site who sadly call Bush an "idiot" too. Are you and your pal of this sort?

Can you give us some professional wrestlers for mid-level state office? How about porn queens for child welfare/child protective services? How about good looking mafia figures, turned fav pop figures, for Justice?

How America has changed.

Arnold is electable in California. He's got star power and instant name recognition.

He's also sucked all the air out of the room for the Dims.
