Thanks for the information!
Another idea (reflected both in America and in the Prophets) is that those who are sacrificing their children to the false gods REALLY hate those who won't ...

The answer is obvious - liberal antogonism towards those deeply relegious who follow G-d;s laws, not those of men.

But I still don't understand it. Anyone have an explanation? I'm still trying to figure out the Methodist vs. Presyterian vs. Catholic vs. LDS slugfests that pop up on this forum.

The Christian Zionists (lovers of Zion) are often much better to Israel than the America born Jews. Their moral and spiritual support has been most welcome and most helpful to Israel.

In Israel, the cries of the innocent who are victimized by PLO terrorism reach the the Throne, and the IDF rolls on the terrorist infrastructure. Precisely! Also known as, "Praise G_d and pass the ammunition"

Why are the Haredim hated so rabidly, and without reason by the secular segment of society? Because men of God always are. While as a Christian I love to argue the tenants of our faiths, (preferably over a steaming cup of coffee), I respect any man who will live a sacrificial life for God, no matter how much I think some of the sacrifices are not by God's intent but by mans.
Why are Christians hated so virulently by Gays? When you pick through the surface logic, the illogic and depth of the hatred show what you are dealing with is way beyond reason, it has a faith of its own. Hatred of God is the religion of the secular, some are just more observant than others.

That 4/5 Jews did not leave Egypt at the time, and perished. And so it will be at the End as well, where 4/5 Jews will not desire Israel whether they live in the country or not. May your wisdom be shouted from the rooftops around the world and thereby make itself wrong. But what I fear is, it will not be said in "polite" company and be found sadly true in the end. This reminds me of a line in a Christan song by Keith Green. It is God singing to the world;
"To obey is better than sacrifice,
I don't want your money, I want your life."

One of the reasons they're hated is because they, along with Conservative Jews, are authentic Jews who remind secular Jews that they really aren't Jewish. Secular Jews are also Jewish. Well, except for the Russians who make up a bogus ancestor in order to emigrate to Israel claiming they are "Jews according to Hitler."
Here is a multiple choice question. See if you can figure out the right answer:
The Jewish people retained their identity and their religion through two thousand years of exile because:
A. The built big strong walls around their neighborhoods to keep the "goyim" out.
B. They made it very easy to convert to Judaism.
C. They encouraged intermarriage.
D. They had a large army of non-Jewish mercenaries.
E. They studied the Torah, the Talmud and all the complex laws, observed them meticulously and made certain that their children would do the same.
