Hadn't heard about this either . . . But Googling around I just found
this:
But Viacom, owner of CBS, UPN, MTV, VH1, Spike TV, Country Music Television, Showtime, the Movie Channel and so on, leveraged all these channels' influence in actually procuring Lynch's signature on a deal that will bring exclusive interviews to its news channels and "lifestyle" specials on the other channels.
Nothing specifically about a movie deal, though. However, I don't know why else the Movie Channel and Showtime would get involved.

No, it looks like you were right. It's all very confusing to me, though; I thought she was prohibited from making any deals while she was still on active duty.

Not Yet! Where is The Sentinel" from?
To: demlosers
So quickly? Usually military incidents and events are made into movies years or even decades later. Like the Entebbe Operation in Uganda, WWI and WII movies. But now its all about quick money while the event is fresh in our minds.

You did not bring me any credible sources, young person! When you do, I may apologize.....I have searched the net, and there are none! As to this mess!
When I am wrong, I will admit it, but not from Reutgers and the New York Times for sure!
