Some of the content on the blogpage under the alleged letter makes for entertaining adult reading. Take this as an example. Is it your average leftist troll? Or it is a Paleo-Libertarian True Believer?

No one cared jack shit for the Iraqi people as long as Saddam terrorized them in the name of profits for BushCo. Bush is sure he had WMD because he has the receipts. Anyone with more than four brain cells knows this is true.

Now that lying slimeball has half the Army's combat power tied down trying to fix a country he broke in the first place, which never threatened us in any way, while the guy who really wants to kill us all wanders around Afghanistan making party tapes for Al-Jazeera.

Try to collect all the brain cells in your 'Imperium' (how pathetically juvenile is that?) together and see if someone can make one functional brain out of the entire pitiful mass of fascist, psuedo-patriotic sludge. If you can critically think for five seconds at a time, you'll see that Bush and his minions are running this country into the ground, militarily and economically.

I've read about enough from you. People on FR questioned the troops and the families going to the media with complaints or questioning of the war because it acts to give assistance and comfort to the enemy and is demoralizing. Anyone who has been in the military long enough or through a war (read Korea or Vietnam) should know this.

My problem with this so-called letter from a marine is they use to many buzz-phrases/words you're just not going to hear a lot of in a Corps squad. Still, I knew a self-described libertarain who was in the military (for an abbreviated enlistment) once.

But of course, many of those assholes would rather see us die by the thousands than succeed at our efforts here. I have my doubts about the authenticity of this. It contains nothing one could not have learned from TV, in fact it quotes what is on the nightly TV news here in America. It contains no little details that make something like this read true. I reviewed it again and I'm pretty sure the person who wrote this is nowhere near Iraq.
 

Never entered my mind when I posted this. But you and others have a point. He makes too many sophisticated references to the media. Such as mentioning Dominique de Villepin and the ISM pest Rachel Corrie (bulldozed). You can enter "Naviguesser" in google and check out his bona fides.
