It isn't the Republicans trying to create Utopia on earth. It is exactly the impractical liberal Left, Hillary's own supporters, who dream of the Golden Age, maybe even Hesiod's rustic Golden Age. If you like shortages, disease, violence, and short, miserable, uncertain lives, the Golden Age is for you. Conservatives, being practical, don't believe in Utopias, and have seen too many come and go with not much to show. In fact, they have watched them all come and go.
