Wow! Here is someone with pretty much the same political philosopy as the US Democrat Party who is electable. I look forward to seeing him run in New Hampshire.
Where does he buy those clothes. Looks like something you get out of one of those industrial supply catalogs.

That terrible stupid olive green/brown pullover with the spandex waist, and matching trousers barely concealing that big belly of his, are very 'ret' indeed!

What a tragedy to see history repeating itself in our lifetimes. A great teacher of mine from elementary school had been in combat in North Korea. He had trouble with arthritis and by the time I left the junior academy he was in a wheel chair.
I've always wondered if the parents approved of the stories he told. But then again, the parents in that community were very conservative.

Japanese language TV news in the US in some of the larger markets (LA, San Francisco, New York City, Washington, DC) etc. as you point out have been relaying a lot of Pyongyang Central TV from North Korea through their regular daily news programs, usually FNN (Fuji Network) etc. I think the channel you referred to was one of them. Stateside TV for japanese is where I saw the North Korean drama in which they brutally abused two child actors to show how 'cruel' the US troops were in a drama call "Hana no Kodama" (in Japanese), but the crazy Northies ended up showing how cruel they themselves were in the Pyongyang movie set, the way they treated those poor youngsters.

That's funny. Didn't Saddam get elected with a similar vote total just a year ago? Pride goeth before the fall? :-)
You'd think they'd claim "only" 90 per cent or so, just to keep it from looking like a complete farce. Ah, but that would be an affront to any dictator's authority, I reckon.

KIM JONG-IL "RE-ELECTED" WITH A (SURPRISE!) 100% TURNOUT AND 100% OF THE POPULAR VOTEI don't always agree with him, but I have to admit that he does seem to have mastered North Korean politics.
