well, some people don't understand ... so sometimes we have to repeat it ... I'd rather we say something than stay silent as most of Islam has on their terrorist sectors ...

Yasser Arafat says Jesus was a Palestinian freedom fighter against Israel ... unbelievable ... the Scriptures don't support that at all ... Hopefully most Israelis know Yasser Arafat for what he is ...

I'm not surprised that he would say that. I hear leftists right here in America characterizing Jesus as a radical revolutionary, a subversive, a seditious insurrectionist. They liken him to people like John Brown. The funny thing is that the pacifists, who are also of the left, claim him as one of their own, comparing him to Gandhi. A simple reading of the Gospels is enough to dispel both of these notions.

that's why it's good to keep telling the Truth ... it's amazing how distorted the Mission of Christ has been for 2,000 years ...

I'm glad to see that most of you have your heads on straight. If Jesus were to come today, instead of 2,000 years ago, it would be us, all of us, screaming kill him.....
And, thank GOD, we could be forgiven.

While growing up in the sixties and the pre-Vatican II era, I was taught by our Catholic parish priest that Jesus died for the sins of all mankind. It seemed only in the late eighty or early nineties when I first heard of the accusation anti-semitism used against the Gospels. I wonder if we can use the same label anti-British for any story related to Thomas Moore, Mary of Scotland, Joan of Arc or anti-Roman for Spartacus, Ben Hur, Peter and Paul; the list can go on and on practically for any fiction or non-fiction tragic figures.
Apparently, the liberals hate the Gospels. They exhausted all kinds of reasons and excuses to ban it. The Gospels messages do not thrive well with their life styles and agendas.
