The everyday life around my property has changed in one way -- the road gate is now kept padlocked. But I admit, after all this time, he's probably long gone.

Did you mean a Dodge Dart? Not all were dogs. Check out this GTS 440 Magnum. 1/4 ET = 12.55
Driven my share of Mopar, Ford and GM dogs. Dodges were king of the strip for a long time.
Perhaps you don't remember the Candy Stripe Dodges in the mid-60s.
