Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

They can give him all the support they want in polls, but when election day comes they will all pull the lever with the D on it.

After all, if a republican is elected more black churches will burn and more blacks will be dragged in chains behind trucks.

Unfortunately you're probably correct. But the polls are encouraging.

You can call me racist if you like but there's no way I will believe this unless I see it in November 2004.

I will bet you right now that Bush gets better than 15% in 2004 from blacks. I actually think he will get a 50% increase in black vote from 2000 (18%), minimum.

The strategy would be not to get more blacks to vote for Bush but to supress the black turnout for democrats.

That's why you hear the overheated race rhetoric the dems are spinning.

I regretfully agree with you but live in hope that one day the scales will fall from their eyes.

Phantom Lord says, "After all, if a republican is elected more black churches will burn and more blacks will be dragged in chains behind trucks."

More churches have been burned down, more lynchings have ocurred and more prosperity of the Klan happened during Dem administrations than during GOP.

ALL blacks do not vote for democrats everytime, even in 2000, 9% of black voters went GOP, not as much as it could have been but not as bad as it could have been either.

If Bush gets 15% of the black vote there will be a GOP landslide in 2004. I believe--thanks to the faith-based initiatives, school vouchers and the Rice/Powell team--25% is imminently doable.

I take it you are not familiar with the commercials the RATS ran telling blacks that if republicans are elected black churches will burn or the commerical the NAALCP ran with James Byrd's daughter saying that when George Bush vetoed hate crimes legislation it was like "my father had been killed all over again."

I was mocking the real ads that the RATS ran in 2000.

If President Bush gets 15% of the black vote in 2004 it will be more than a landslide. And 15% is an achievable number if the black community turns off the coming negative and racially motivated attacks the RATS are going to use. But if you think that Bush can or will get 25% of the black vote you are living in Fantasy Land.

I'd like to believe this, but.....

Something of note: a black democrat candidate has 9% black approval and a white sitting republican has 19% black approval. That by itself is news.

If any group in this country can benefit from following conservative values, it's African Americans.

This is starting to be recognized in that community. Only be a small number, it is true, but growing.

I don't like seeing the scepticism and negativism here. Fortunately, Dubya isn't listening to people who believe that the 'Rats own this vote.

Also, it is not just the percentage of votes that go to Dubya that should be measured. If a significant number of former 'Rat voters decide to stay home in '04, that's half a step and a gain for the Republicans. Those folks would be prime candidates to win over in the future.

One fact that is very important: The 'Rats are in decline. All they have left is their Senate filibustering and some supporters on SCOTUS; otherwise, they are losing out. Nobody loves a loser! More and more traditional 'Rat supporters are going to realize that the 'Rats are out of power. They'll start hedging their bets.

I predict that if there is a black President in the next 40 years, he or she will be a Republican.

Notice how the 'Rat press has attacked Condi recently, and Dubya pounded his fist. They've also attacked Powell. They are SCARED SH*TLESS by these two Republicans! The 'Rats are SCARED SH*TLESS that they will start losing some of their core constituencies. Be afraid, 'Rats, be VERY afraid.
