They do know why... he stated over, and over and over again why. He didn't just say, KILL AMERICANS, he quoted the Quran, and used the Quran to explain WHY we should be killed.

Well, thanks. I know I sometimes come on a little strong, and in that sense invite some of the heat. But I enjoy it. Thanks for the conversation.

Maybe it's all the funnier for those of us who have seen a camel's butt up close.

Well, guess what, Clintons, it takes class and decency; something you will never have. You ought to read David Limbaugh's book, Absolute Power for some details on that. He completely skewers both Clinton and Reno. It's a good read.

Amazing the things you have seen, Quix! You are always full of surprises.

I agree with you. They hate us because they are programmed to hate anyone who is not Muslim. Programmed by their leaders, by their religion, by their culture. It's who they are.

Umm...ok...I'll ask it...in what capacity did you see this camel's butt?
To: Cacophonous
"'They hate is because we are free.' Possibly the dumbest thing ever uttered by a President not named Clinton." The actual quote was:
"They hate us because we are free."
Calling someone "dumb" in the context of quoting him incorrectly is stupid at best.

I'm not sure which end of a camel smells worse.
They are interesting critters. Easily disgusting. But also quaint, homely, indulgent and tolerant about some things to a point.
I gather, though, like elephants, one doesn't want to get on their bad side.
Trouble is, front and back can easily be their bad sides!

During a Pentagon Press Conference at the height of the liberation of Iraq Sec. of Def. Rumsfeld sternly warned Syria and Iran not to assist Iraq.
Some of President Bush's aides frantically ran into the Oval Office and told the President that Rumsfeld just threatened Syria and Iran.
President Bush replied, "Good."

That's a fair shot. Thanks.
Though I never claimed to be a great typisd.

And if you are going to quote ME, please get it right. I called the quote dumb, not the President.

Thanks. I may need them.

LOL.
As I've told plenty of counseling clients . . . either I've done it, my relatives have done it, our low paying renters have done it or my clients have done it or it probably hasn't been done. So they may as well lay aside their self-consciousness or hollow pride and let us get on with sorting out a better life for them and those close to them.
Oddly, I have declined to ride both a camel and an elephant. Usually I enjoy novel experiences.
But I think in both cases, I was more focused on relationships at the moment in those settings. That's no surprise. Besides, it was hot and I didn't really feel all that attracted both days [decades apart]--I didn't feel that attracted working up a sweat riding a sweaty smelly animal when air conditioning and good conversation were available elsewhere.
And the camel looked like he was eager to take a bite out of a foreigner or at least spit at one. And I didn't wish to be the target in either case.
