The blade is a venerable weapon (in all its forms) and very under-appreceiated in this 'modern' age.

Even a small pocketknife is better than bare hands.

Nothing - no pistol, no SMG, no rifle, no automatic rifle - beats a semi-auto shotgun for lethality and versality in close combat.

Doctrine well-learned courtesy of our martial arts instructor. One thing in particular that he stressed was what he called 'feeding the dragon'. Always keep that sucker topped up.

Me wife likes the pistol grip, I don't - for handling reasons. The nice thing about semis like the Benelli is that you have one less thing to do in a stressful situation. It'll take 3" magnums, but 2 3/4" do just fine - up close, your opponent will hardly notice the difference.

The other thing about the M1 Super 90 is that it's shockingly light, and is thus is a very fast handler. Highly recommended.

Did you know that there is ANOTHER "Bang List"?

Chatty bang_list gun-related posts properly made to the "General Interest" area (as opposed to News/Activism area) are NOT visible when you view the regular bang_list.

If you want to see posts regarding "What gun to buy?", vanities on gun politics, and silly gun-related stories, bookmark this spot:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/finduser?user=%2Abang_list

If you want to post to this chat list, click "General Interest" (aka "chat") in the upper right under "my forums", then post, then reply to "*bang_list".

Hate to say it, but www.cdnninvestments.com has some in their current catalog (click for the pdf) for $339.

Nice gun, just the same.

awww how cute....

I will still take my Colt model 1911 .45 cal it has been in the dirt, water, mud, snow all weather all conditions... it has never failed to fire and when it hits home the target goes down....

In Germany as our troops carried captured pistols, when they pointed it to make a point follwing an order to POW's and civilians alike they would get a laugh.... when they pointed the .45 all they got were followed orders and comments like "Das ist Gross" ("That is big")

.45 may be slow like the joke you can read your name on the bullet before it hits you... but it packs a punch....as the old saying goes..."When you shoot a man with a .45 the only thing he can really do is die."

By the way I have the video of the Atomic Arty... it shows the gun fire then the explosion and the "shroom cloud" complete with sound.

lol!
Happens all the time! Especially when I pull out the 'Frazier Matchmate.'
Not a good pic but this is him (Clark Frazier, Rawson, Ohio) with one. Mine was made in 1979 and took 2 years to get. It's a .50 cal. Olympic style, offhand target rifle. It has a thumbhole stock made with 3 exotic woods laminated together. The hooked buttplate is adjustable. Sights are Redfield w/Merit disc. Ser. # 45.
I rarely shoot it anymore and only bring it out to oil it.
It's pure Americana!

You might want to see if they have it in 45.acp

Thanks for the input. I don't believe it comes in .45 (which I would prefer). They have a 9mm version, but I wanted more stopping power.

But, hey, if a bad guy comes along, its better than just pulling out your hand with some skin on it!

Here is my baby girl at 9yo with my Glock 27.

Here is my son with the same weapon.

Here is my daughter at 12yo with my AR-15.

Here is my son shooting Humblegunner's SKS.

Almost brings a tear to my eye!
