Linux users don't have to worry. We're protected by the GPL, as you will see. No one can redistributed GPL'd code in violation of the GPL, which is what SCO wants to do.

If there were some violation of SCO's copyright/patents/etc. in the Linux kernel, it would have to be removed. There is no other legal solution. Any attempt to proprietarize the kernel would violate the copyright of numerous contributors.
