Did you read your own link? It says MLK did say that very thing, word-for-word...only not in a letter in the Saturday Review. CAMERA states one can use the sentence as a direct quote from MLK with complete confidence:

No. That was MY viewpoint. Not his. And I don't think it is necessarily wrong to post these sorts of articles, it just that it is done in excess. Don't worry though, I have no power (or right) to limit it. I can just post my opinion, which is my right, as it is yours to disagree with.

I dont know a lot of Jews but the handful that I do know are all Liberal Democrats. What is it that pulls them over to that side? The Christians , like myself, that love and care for them are almost always Conservative Republicans. Am I wrong in this? Maybe I just dont know enough Jewish people to get the whole picture. Our God is One.

During the Twentieth Century it became people on the left who opposed bigotry and supported civil rights. Conservatives in both political parties opposed much of civil rights legislation for reasons good and reasons otherwise. Conservative positions became a place for bigots to hide. Jews and blacks alike came to distrust the motives of people pushing conservative ideas.

That is of course too simple but I think it a good outline. Anticipating some objections, please note that I said, "Conservatives in both parties."

I was just making a flip comment about 1) the excerpting of the article. If we're not under an injunction from that wource, then let's have it. The pop-ups from the sources are driving some of us crazy. 2) I was making another flip comment about someone seeming to be a bit too touchy. It was just a quick comment, not an invitation to a flamefest. I get plenty of that on topics I know more about.

Ok. Apparently you need to have everything spelled out for you. I was making a point to drive home the irritation many of us feel with the constant 'everyone is out to get me' articles posted here.

Your responses demanding specific examples of racism, your angry comments at the accusation, and so forth illustrate my point. WE are angry and tired of having to hear about ALLEGED anti-Semitism all the time.... just as you were angered to have someone accuse Jews of also being anti-Gentile. Nobody likes to be accused of such garbage. Posting this kind of BS day in and day out gets old.

You blew a gasket when reading a one line comment alleging racism in the Jewish community... how the hell do you think Gentiles feel about the CONSTANT accusations of anti-Semitism?
