I just read an article about how internet reviews have kept some of the attendance at overly-hyped movies down by 5-6% below last year. Family-friendly shows, like Seabiscuit and Nemo, are very successful, while bimbo movies with J-Lo are going straight to video, and Clooney's last 3 movies bombed.

Part of this might have to do with the arrogance and anti-Americanism of the stars.

Keep reminding people, stay away from the movies starring the idiots, and just maybe Hollywood might get the message.

I agree with you 100%, however I have to admit that I did take my wife and kid to see Pirates of the Carribean and to his credit it was good. But your right, Johnny Depp is out there and as a whole I do try to avoid Trash Talking Liberals like him. But sometimes, Wife & Daughter get to pick the movies. What can I say.

I wasn't going to see any of those movies because they sound stupid, so now I have 2 reasons not to go : D

The only current movie I would like to see in The Hulk, but my friends told me it was pretty bad, so looks like I'll wait for it to come out on dvd.

If Hollywood depended on people like me to make $$$, there would be NO Hollywood at all. I haven't watched an entire movie in years. At theaters, not since since the late 70s.

yes...it looks good. Costner returning to the western genre. We have no issues with anyone in that movie. They either support America or know that they should not bite the hand that feeds them

Chris Cooper is also in this movie. He is one of the best actors around, in my opinion. I wonder if he is a lefty. Probably one of the reasons I like him is that I don't know if he's a lefty or not. He acts and then he goes home and spends time with his family.

I'm not exactly a goy-boy, I married a Jewish lady 29 years ago, and have lived that life ever since, raising my kids as Jews too. Jewish folks are special in many ways, as I'm sure you have noticed.

But I am mindful of the traditional identification of Jews with leftist philosophy. I hope what is happening today in the world will wake them up, but I'm not holding my breath.

Certainly the creation of Israel is a reaction by Jews to the ever present desires of many to kill them, and an effective reaction at that, since it's one of the world's top military powers. I guess that's why Israel becomes such a focus of the Left.

Yeah, I am with you on GWB, I don't always agree with the guy, but he seems not only to be a straight shooter, but one who sees the "big picture."
