Although Brigham may have once said about SLC, "this is the place," (perhaps in a moment of delirium from mountain fever), he went on later to state categorically, "this is really the place." He was referring to his winter home--St. George, UT, and he was, of course, right! He was our first Snowbird and began the wintertime invasions of thousands of ice covered invaders from the frozen north. Please come and bring money!

I have heard that St. George is beautiful. I have been to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park but that is the only part Utah that I have seen.

Thanks for pinging me on this, I just moved to SLC last month. It's beautiful here! Very family friendly, I had thursday off and drove down to Liberty park with the wife and kids to watch the (huge) parade, fantastic day!
