Bears repeating. The way the media is reporting troop casualties in Iraq is getting on my nerves - and it seems they are only reporting casualties.
Of course, we have plenty of troops still in Afghanistan, and they aren't reporting anything there.
I have no argument with recognizing soldiers who've made the ultimate sacrifice; I think we should. But the media is not recognizing these soldiers, they are just implying that they died for nothing, thereby negating their sacrifice - and then they say they are "supporting the troops" by doing so.
