This hits close to the mark. Also "Guilt-tortured white liberal faculties are ideologically defenseless
against them, ...." America is so guilt-ridden that it is committing suicide.

Bump.

Makes you wonder what California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas would look like today if the US hadn't acquired the territory.

Curious that the Israeli's managed to take the same desert the Arabs lived in for centuries and turned it into a modern country while the Arabs stay in the 17th Century.

They'd look just like Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua and Tamaulipas. Nothing changes north of the border except the way of government and culture. All the same natural resources exist on both sides but Mexico has an extremely high level of corruption and hideous form of government.

To which the Mexican continues, “Yes – and what is worse, you gringos stole the half with all the paved roads!”

It's sad but this is how very many actually see it. Of course it's what their government is telling them too.

Virulently racist groups espousing a Mexican Nazism are blossoming in California and the Southwest U.S., groups such as La Raza, which literally means “The Race.” Its motto is Por La Raza Todo, Fuera de La Raza Nada – For The Race, Everything; Outside The Race, Nothing.

A lot of the problem is the elites of Mexico are delaying the Revolution by speeding up immigration to the USA but all that's going to do for us is make sure we're very tangled up in the next Mexican Revolution. Much of it will be fought over here on our side.

Except for the highways, rail, dams, cities, etc.

A free people seem to be able to do more to improve their lives and their environment.

----------------------

The areas were inherited by Mexico as the result of decrees made by Hernando Cortez who claimed nearly one third of what is now the United States for Spain without ever seeing any of it. There was no way to get there to see it as the desert acted as a barrier. The northern half of Mexico remains an uninhabited desert barrier today. What was eventually to become the United States was uninhabited except by a few crude villages with 15 people 60 chickens and two goats. --resembling a scene from a Clint Eastwood movie.

Lazy irresponsible mopes cannot be made free, no matter what you do for them. Just as people of a frees and responsible culture cannot be enslaved, no matter what you do to them.

We're finding the same is true in Afghanistan and Iraq.

PS I love your disclaimer

"· A federal law mandating that the U.S. government communicate with citizens and residents exclusively in English. "

Under current federal law, voting materials are available in 7 languages. Californians can vote by mail and simply make a call to get "Election Information" in Spanish, Korean,Chinese,Japanese,Vietnamese, and Tagalog.

That all? What about Gruntalot, Scratchandsniff, and oogabooga? We don't want to leave them out. I'm sure they have a lot to offer our too-narrow culture.

Evening, SAM.

We can talk about this business, at least for now, but this stuff will never come to a vote until it's too late. Watch and see.

Hi Iris7.

As long as the politicians take the citizens who vote for granted and keep kissing Illegal Alien butt nothing is gonna change. Until enough voters start caring about this issue and kicking out politicians who cater to illegals they'll keep right on letting them come in and promise them everything at the taxpayers expense..

Also, Mexico was geopoliticaly unstable. It had been ruled by Spain, France, Germany and was a bargaining chip in many, purely European, deals. Mexico, as it was used by European, countries was a threat to American interests in this hemisphere according to the principles of the Monroe Doctrine. That there was a Mexico before 1910, is a specious argument.

The step mother claims it was do the daily Jumble in the paper that helped her learn English. Her native language was Tagalog (sp).

Having to communicate was often frustrating and her comments about how you American women are so wasteful really got old. Needless to say two weeks before I was of legal age I left home. Never to return.
