Sounds more effective than "we formally requested the Cuban government look into the matter"

"The site identified by U.S. satellite photos is a facility in Cuba known as Lourdes, built back in 1962 with the help of the Soviets."

We could be wrong about the source of this jamming. I suggest that a single well placed GPS guided bomb on this Lourdes site could aid both ourselves and the Castro government in getting a quick assessment. I mean, like, who wants to put busy Communist government functionaries to a lot of unneeded trouble when a reliable strightforword technical test is available.

True. May need to pick out a few more locations.

'May need to pick out a few more locations."

Very astute of you to think of that!

How about for starters we hit half of all possible sites. If jamming persists, we hit half of whatever's left. And so on. I'd also suggest that, if jamming does cease at any given point, we go ahead and take out everything else to make sure that darn jamming does not come back.

I wonder how hard it would be to modify a cruise missile to lock onto the source of the jamming and home in on it.

Ah, that's probably no trick at all. A more sophisticated device and one more worthy of research money would be something that could home on the source of a Castor speech and douse it with SARS virus.
