Accused Murderer Scott Woodring Is Dead

The wide variety of good that can be accomplished using amateur radio is no secret. Both my parents were licensed hams, and used their radios for everything from helping to coordinate SAR efforts for a military helicopter that crashed in a storm here in N. Central Texas years ago to Mom reminding Dad to pick up milk and bread on the way home from work.

Its no great surprise that the looneytunes have picked up on AR as a way to communicate - you can get 2-meter transceivers cheaply almost anywhere. I'll bet you a rubber dolly that none of them have a license to use said equipment though - that would be "a mark of the beast."
