But this author has no credibility and I have no proof that he didn't make up the unnamed source's quotes. The article was written in January. The war began in March. Unless Mr. Thompson had ESP, the (continuing) press coverage nails the DNC-press and validates Mr. Thompson's claims here.
As for the credibility of Doug Thompson, why is every mainstream reporter who chose to parrot Doug's "Uranium" article any more credible? Indeed, the mainstream reporters have been lying about our efforts in Iraq from day one. UN-credible!

Oh, I see the democrats and the media doing just what Thompson's article predicted that they would do. I'm just saying that I don't know if Thompson's source even exists. For all I know, he could have made a prediction based on how the 'rats operate.

They're not more credible. None of them are.
I try to always be skeptical of unnamed sources, whether they come down on my side or not. As for Doug Thompson, I'm more than skeptical of any of his unnamed sources, and his named sources as well.

    Good point. The
press coverage during the war was more than simply careless, it was unreal...and clearly coordinated. This report, this article about a DNC memo written by Carville, McAuliffe, Daschle and Gephardt and o.k.ed by other DNC members isn't simply a rough outline. This is a specific list of talking points that
were followed by the press.
It continues.

Yeah, the Dems. are busy creating mischief again. Surprise. There are
real scandals out there - multiple cases of very bad behavior by US elected officials (and XXX42s) who are selling out America for partisan power's sake during wartime. Whether it's
Hillary Clinton pledging her loyalty (and that of her party) to Old Europe and
dissing our CIC in front of a German audience, or
her hubby meeting with current world leaders,
criticizing Bush foreign policy, or - the BIGGEST daily scandal of the past 4 months: the DNC-press intentionally
undermining our efforts in Iraq by
hyping the bad and ignoring the good - continuing to
terrorizing a longsuffering people and
endanger our troops while giving comfort to the
enemy - all to destroy a sitting President and win back political power. SCANDALOUS.
If these left-wing wankers still don't get it, if they can't handle 4 months of difficult, important steady progress in Iraq, how can they possibly think we'd entrust them with our national security for 4 days, never mind 4 years.
