I'd like to share through you for the Lurkers my experience with the Bible. Years ago I used to read it like a book, the most important book ever. I read it exhaustively, with concordances and reference material piled high.

Somewhere along the way, I started reading it like a love letter and the Word came alive in my Spirit.

Now, it seems whenever I need to know something He reveals it to me easily and directly, showing me where to turn. My eyes only scan the words as the meaning jumps ahead into my Spirit.

I believe this is the answer to this prayer for us:

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
