Don't take me wrong here but I always thought this was the one thing that the rooskies could do well..control an uprising. They're not encumbered by all that "Bill-a-Rights" stuff and they've got the ruthlessness to do the deed. Why can't they just crush this little piss ant outfit in Chechnya?
Sure, I know I've probably been watching too many James Bond movies but seriously, if they have the resources and the will to use them, wass de prollem??

Problem is, they not large groups who stand/fight. They hide, send suiciders. Same reason Isreal has problem and England has problem. They now terrorist groupings...small. Mine here, rpg there, suicider. Personally I say, village host them, level village, exile to mobile homes in Siberia and chip whole bunch...so if leave you track and then imprison. Give land to armed Cossaks. Erase Chechnya from maps and make into Central Cossakia. Watch rest of Islamics sit nice, quite...they all fear Orthodox Cossaks.
