"We believe there is a Tiger Woods in motor sports just waiting for the type of support to take him or her to the highest echelons of motor sports and take motor sports to a new plateau, just as the Williams' sisters are taking tennis," Farrell said. There are 43 slots open for drivers on the track. The most competitive pro sport in America. Start competing.

Yeah, NASCAR is a redneck cracker sport. What about it? Just like the NBA is an inner-city gangland thug sport. One is just as racist as the other. One wears advertising all over themselves like a bunch of cheap whores and the other wears tattoos all over themselves like a bunch of cheap whores. So why isn't there some shakedown artist demanding $250,000 until the NBA changes its image? Hmmm?
What if NASCAR stopped paying Rev. Shakedown and just used the money to but a race car for a minority driver? Wouldn't that cut out the middle man and accomplish what Rev. Shakedown alleges to want? It would save NASCAR a whole lot of grief, I can bet that.

"When you see the Confederate flag, what is the perception you are going to get but of white supremacy?" When I read terms such as "southern redneck cracker", what perception am I going to get but one of black bigotry and racism.

"Even in discussions with NASCAR, there is agreement that there is a perception that stock car racing is a good ole' boy's southern redneck cracker sport," AND?
It should be; The very 1st car to win a NASCAR race had ran moonshine on a bootleging run the night before.

So what does Jesse Jackass have to say about the NBA being literally 80% black? It must be racism. Maybe an organization of white people should sue the NBA to force them to go out and recruit white guys and give them special priority in the draft. Since the "civil rights" types want to force that crap on every nook and cranny of corporate America and small business, it's hypocritical that they think it shouldn't be forced on organizations that employ blacks predominantly.
I was watching ESPN one time when they were asking black ball players why it was OK to have the NBA be literally 80% black. Most of the black athletes said straight-up that blacks are better athletes, that's why the NBA is so racially slanted. It's okay for them to say that, but I'd be crucified for saying that white people are smarter and that's why they are such a big majority in corporate America. (For me, I don't believe that blacks are better athletes and whites are smarter, I think it's a matter of people choosing to apply themselves in different vocations.)
I find it interesting that the Jesse Jackass crowd is moaning that there aren't enough blacks in coaching positions for professional sports. Since the coaches make a lot less money than the players, I don't see that they have any room to gripe. This isn't about fairness, it's about running as many white people as possible out of front office jobs.
News flash: professionsal sports is first and foremost about winning games (or races for NASCAR) because that's where the money is, not in setting racial quotas. With the exception of Marge Schott, what owner is going to pass up a black coach if they think that that coach will win more games and get them closer to a championship? I just don't believe that teams out there are doing that.

Farrell also rebuffed criticism that NASCAR's donations to Rainbow/PUSH end up in Jackson's pockets."When people say the money goes to [Jackson], it doesn't go to him.
Of course it doesn't. Didn't some of the Rainbow money end up going to one of Jesse Jackson's bastard children?
Jesse doesn't get it. His kids do.

"We believe there is a Tiger Woods in motor sports just waiting for the type of support to take him or her to the highest echelons of motor sports and take motor sports to a new plateau, just as the Williams' sisters are taking tennis," Farrell said. Yeah, sure, and there's a white Michael Jordan out there who isn't getting a fair chance because the NBA is 80% black. This Farrell guy is so full of crap.

Officials with the popular basketball league, NBA, have privately acknowledged that b-ball is seen as "a street-gangsta ni&&er sport"...

"We believe there is a Tiger Woods in motor sports just waiting for the type of support to take him or her to the highest echelons of motor sports and take motor sports to a new plateau, just as the Williams' sisters are taking tennis," Farrell said Wendell Scott did win. So why wouldn't the next top black racing driver be another "Wendell Scott" instead of a Tiger Woods or Williams sister?
I wonder if this isn't about accomplishment at all, rather PR and shakedowns.

"When I go to the tracks and I see hundreds of Confederate flags, that certainly does not do anything to dispel the perception," Farrell explained. Hey - it warms MY heart: you can call them my 'gang colors' if you'd like...
Um, so would this mean that now besides restrictor plates, and proper seat restraints, and templated body shapes, and regulation tires, they'll have to worry about whether or not the cars are STOLEN too? And drive-by-shooting the competitor's pit crews?

"Cracker" in the opinion of many, is NOT a term used to describe racists, but to describe people with heritage in the South. Blacks included.
