How many rightous man does CHRIST say there are? "none are righteous, no not one"

CHRIST also refers to some men as righteous elsewhere in scripture. Are you saying Jesus contradicts Himself?

Or do you understand the distinctions between the word righteous as it is used in each situation?

In any case the Bible is full of references to righteous men...and the one I speak of above in the context of Sodom and Gomorrah is nevertheless straight from God's Word.

Jesus said;

Matthew 10:41
He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

Matthew 13:17
For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Matthew 23:35
That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Matthew 25:37
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee]? or thirsty, and gave [thee] drink?

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Instead of debating tonight I am going to pray for those who can't see that which is in plain view in front of them, as freedomsnotfree has suggested to me.

In the end freedomsnotfree and I are optimistic beyond all comprehension.

My DI told me a long time ago: "All it takes is 10% of any unit to be unfit to make the other 90% ineffective. (I've obviously cleaned up the language a bit.) The longer I have been on the planet, the more I see that he was right. The trouble with America is that we're not dealing with a measily 10% percent anymore. We're talking more along the lines of a 50-50 split in the population's moral/ethic traditions. In the words of a famous astronaut: "Houston, we have a problem."

The "conservatives" along with everbody else needs Christ. After they accept that, everything else will take care of itself. Want proof? Take for example the 10 commandments and the punishment proscribed for their violation. No more perfect law can anyone come up with. So what do we do in our ultimate wisdom? We scrap 10 simple laws because they are outdated and barbaric and replace them with thousands upon thousands of laws governing every aspect of our lives, most that we are unaware of, all in the attempt to create loopholes so as not to be enforceable upon the individuals fortunate enough to have the means by which to escape their enforcement.

If you can't see what is happening in this country, then you brother, are blinded to the truth. The gentleman last night was following the commands from GOD. He was doing what GOD has commanded ALL his children to do.

With all due respect..your heart seems to be in the right place, but your challenge to my post is so contradictory and confused it's hard to know where exactly you stand.

You claim that you are part of God's plan and have nothing to worry about...and if this is true then you are EXACTLY an example of what I've have been trying to get through to the "gentleman".

He was claiming America has totally been taken over by evil and darkness....and he said so as a denial of another poster's references to many good and Godly people in this nation.

I never said I don't see what has been happening to this country.

You claim to defend his argument while at the same time claim to be an exception to his generalization.

The conservatives are not the answer. We need a Nevina experiance. GOD promises us that if his people would humble themselves, seek his face and ask for forgiveness that he would heal their land. This is the answer...it is the only answer.

I saw the n Terminator movie Wednesday . I really do'nt think proper thinking Citizens want a guy for Governor who , when he would be Governor , would draw their minds back to the new movie where Arnold comes to earth in a mega supercharged bubble egg , it breaks open and WHALLLLLAAAAA ! You have a totally naked Arnold machine alien who walks naked into a ladies night strip joint ( sees through his scanner that the male strippers clothes are a match for him ) and demands the clothes off of a not yet stripped male stripper .

When the stripper refuses , Arnold breaks the guys fingers , and then proceeds to take the guys clothes from him , leaving the strip joint clothed in the strippers clothes , ready to meet his adversary .
