CA: Human cost of GOP cuts called high (BARF Alert)

How is it that the GOP, which is fewer in muber than the amount of Blacks in Chappaqua is responsible for the crisis in California? I hate Democrats and their inability to take responisbility, and I hate the media that serves as the Dem Paty's propaganda arm.

For all of the rhetorical reasons above, I recommend that Republicans begin the work needing done by first putting on brass knuckles and then through the unswerving application of the following suggestions:

I. CONTROL THE MEDIA

1. Hold regular press conferences, but tightly control them. Read statements and shun questions from hostile press. Stress over and over and OVER the state of the budget and detail the crisis in graphic ways so that mom & pop at home get the sense of looming, impending disaster.

2. Once the table has been set, detail the plans through local talk shows and friendly media platforms. If national media is needed, go with FOX or sources where the message will be heard. Simply eliminate opportunities for the opposition press to print anything but reprints of superior outlets, or opine their views without primary sources.

3. Tell the folks what you're going to do in small pieces. That is, when you are going to lay off 900 state workers, detail who these people are and why they need to go (i.e., grief counselors, highway helpers, state fair greeters, women that hold stop signs at the end of construction zones).

II. THE BLOODY TASK

4. Play the 'fairness' card to the hilt. That is, make the point clear that layoffs are occurring in sectors of government that never should have been created, or staffed, in the first place. Believe me, people will rejoice when they see government workers getting the ax, especially when they are facing the same possibility themselves.

5. Lop off - DON'T PRUNE - the current venues of government that are absolutely not the province of legitimate government. Kill ALL state funding for boondoggles like NPR/PBS/CPB. Don't wimp out and play the 'picking the low fruit' game. Be bold and be surgical. Cut, dammit! Your voting base will go wild when government is CLEARLY restructured and cut down.

---Illegal immigration is your unspoken problem and cannot be avoided…

6. Bring the illegal alien issue to the fore. Get used to being called a racist. If you are not one, grow some balls and thicker skin, because it is a charge the Left will use no matter what you do. There is little doubt that support can be found in many minority quarters for stopping the illegal flow. If you are weak-kneed and need someone to prop you up, get an official 'minority' to stand behind you on the podium when you make the speech that California is going to tackle the problem with illegal immigration. As a bonus, the wealthier Left in your state could be painted as utilizing illegals due to low cost and as anti-American because they don't hire citizens to roof, clean pools, do lawn work, etc. If the Left wants to play class war, simply use their examples to shove it back in their faces - but name names like those hypocrites in your legislature on the Left side of the aisle. Kick them where it hurts.

7. Stress the safety of legal immigrants and praise their hard work AND willingness to abide by the law. Stress the law over and over and OVER. As an added measure, stress the importance of the law. If the opposition whines about the 'needs' of illegals, make them justify breaking the law and undercutting law abiding, legitimate citizens. Don't flinch and don't back down.

8. Make the case for the failure of the public education system. Show the costs, per pupil, versus parochial schools. Call a spade a spade. Tell the good folks at home why the teacher's unions need to be broken. Tell them over and over and OVER that the majority of their education dollars are going to salaries and pensions - not the kiddies. Pair the structure down to the bone - teachers, janitors, a few cooks, office staff and principals. Retain your security.

9. Restructure your Educational system to isolate trouble and special needs from the mainstream. Kids with disabilities can be served more economically from centralized schools rather than redundant measures at every school. Kids that are trouble, well, if you can help with altruism, fine. Get Sydney Potier to help out. Otherwise, MAKE IT CLEAR TO THE TAXPAYER THAT BAD KIDS ARE 99% THE PROBLEM OF THE PARENTS. THE STATE SHOULD NOT BE IN THE BUSINESS OF BEING PARENTS. IF THE PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN ARE PROBLEMATIC, THEN THE ISSUE IS CRIMINAL - NOT EDUCATIONAL.

----Enforce the law and put as much of it as possible on a paying basis. This will bolster your credibility in the eyes of taxpayers. Expect opposition from criminals and Leftists - but hey - they're likely to end up in the prison system anyway so why would you cater to them?

10. Roust all of the vagrants, bums, 'homeless' and other miscreants and prosecute them in 'fastlane' courts. Get them off the streets and out of the faces of productive citizens. This is another hardball issue that can play very well with the citizenry and will be bitterly fought by the Leftist elite and the media. Like Sheriff Joe Arpiao (SP) over in Arizona, put 'em in outdoor camps and make them work for their keep. Put your prison system on a paying basis and by all means get rid of crap like post-high education, television, free phones, Islamic and vegetarian diets, weightlifting rooms and all of the other perks for inmates. I don't advocate bread and water, but a 10 hour day, six days a week working at profitable enterprises for the state is how a 'debt to society' is paid. Prison ought to be a place your homeys don't want to visit.

11. If these measures are effectively carried out, the REAL work of cutting the bedrock social program pork that powers the socialists can be enjoined.
