The second article says that the number of Christian women killed in the left bank of Israel is about the same as the percentage of the population. It is from a human rights web page.
Stoning women for adultery in sub saharan Africa is rare. The case you read about was in Northern Nigeria, where Islamic rule was recently installed. IT caused a lot of controversy because it was the first such time they tried to do it, and it was against the law (law in Nigeria has British roots).
Believe me, in tribal Africa, there is a lot of promiscuity before marriage. Virginity is not quite as big a deal as here, let alone in Arab countries. And since you have to pay for a woman (brideprice) you just don't go around killing them: you educate them and marry them off to the highest bidder. If you killed every non virgin in Nigeria, you wouldn't have any women to marry...

LadyDoc: The Druze are an offshoot of Islam. Like Muslims, they view Jesus as a prophet, but Joseph, not God, is his father. The Druze do not believe in the virgin birth of Christ.
Honor killings are not committed by Arab Muslims alone. Arab Christians are a small minority today in places like Egypt, Jordan, and the Palestinian territories, but they account for a proportionate share of those killings, experts say.
IMHO, this paragraph was tossed into that lengthy article so as not to appear to be Islam-bashing. If I was a college prof grading this as a paper, I'd demand footnotes. Nothing personal, I just don't believe it.
