Thanks for posting the number. I heard about it on the radio, but didn't know the website to find the number. It deserves FReeping!

According to one of the recall people, Davis sympathizers are supposed to call the number to report locations of recall petitioners, so that Davis thugs can go harass the signature gatherers. As it turns out, lots of people are calling in bogus sites to waste the harassers' time.

Bump to Dump Davis and hey, Californians if you haven't done so already, sign that petition to recall Davis right now.

We have a great opportunity to bring back the gold in the Golden State by dumping the worst govenor ever, old Gray-out. Let the golden sunshine in.

See Post #37 and Post #35 on this thread. The Registrant of the site stoptherecall.com is named Eric Bauman. Someone asked if he is the same person as the chair of the LA Democratic Party, who happens to be Eric C. Bauman.

I think it's probably the same guy. It would explain why the stoptherecall people have the resources to harass recall petitioners and even to have a hotline to report locations to dispatch teams of harassers.

I see. Thanks.

I wouldn't be surprised if the head of the L.A. democratic party is involved. What's the big deal? I don't get it? Is there some law against this?

We were discussing this a few days ago...you're correct in the statue, but my point is that when it looks obvious that the petition will be certified, and Davis' poll numbers continue to plummet...they'll "induce" him to chuck it before the official certification..thus making the recall moot.....however, as I also wrote...this too will backfire, cause the Dems will continue to control the state govt, things will get worse, and they'll catch the blame for all of it in 04..BTW, Boxer can be had...an added bonus..
