I certainly was...and thoroughly enjoying it. :)

Now, if only the Owls could teach the Astros how to get through a playoff series without choking...

LOL, good point on the 'stros.

Just checked out your page, good looking cats there. Had a calico w/ colors as dark as yours, had to put her to sleep the day before Thanksgiving last year, now down to one 16 yo torty of low self esteem.

You have my sympathy. I know it's hard to lose those dear friends. My 19-year-old part Burmese chatter-box died three years ago.

The Clinton-Crotch-Chomping Calico will be nine in a couple of weeks and the orange guy is three and a half with a terminal case of Peter Pan Syndrome. He still thinks he's a kitten. He showed up on my front porch at five months old, and $250 later (shots, tests, earmite treatment, neutering), he was running the household.

Yeah, Grinelda the calico was 'only' 12 yo, had raised her from 6 wks old, so she was pretty special. Positively dog-like, followed me around all the time.

Promised Chelsea the torty that I wouldn't bring another cat in to the hous(es) untill........ prolly get a calico mom & a couple of kittens then, if I can.

You should join PetroniDE's (Master of the Kitty Threads) Kitty Caption list. It's a weekly kitty-picture for captioning (I think it resides in FR Chat) and it gets us away from all the stress for a few minutes.

If you're interested, just send Petro a quick FReepmail. I put him on here so you can see his screen name.

Usually ends up in "General Interest", but some are still in "News/Activism". Use search words "Kitty" "Cat" and/or "Meow" for previous threads.
