The SCPD were gracious hosts. It was a regulation in the Town of Huntington regarding the use of "eletronically amplified devices" that put the hold on the megaphone.

Who has an old style megaphone (like a cone) that they want to contribute to the cause?

The US Secret Service Agents not only kept tabs on our side of th street, they periodically walked the line and looked them over. I don't think they were concerned with us when they came over to our side, just who may be trying to blend in with our crowd.

Firebrand, your report brings tears. Huntington is my beloved hometown. I sent a letter to Hannity asking him to haunt and report all Goebbels-like activity from the SS. I doubt he or his staff actually read my note, but I AM happy to know he was on the scene. I would have been with you guys if it were at all possible, which it was not.

I believe the bar was Canterbury Ales, no?

Anyway, bless you. I am glad Huntington was a good freep for you all, as it is like H-E-double toothpicks that the particular junior senator is - well the junior senator there, and that town is, in my biased opinion, such an outstanding place.
