Coulter has changed in the last 3 years or so. The more the left attacks her, the more ferocious her counter attacks become. About time we see this. For decades the left was able to pick out one person at a time and demonize them to the point where they either pulled their punches or slunk away and shut up.

I suggest that you read: The Redhunter: A Novel Based on the Life of Senator Joe McCarthy, by William F. Buckley, Jr..

Yes it's a novel, but thinly veiled. Perhaps Mr. Buckley just didn't have the guts of an Ann Coulter.

If, in your second phrase, you are referring to the "Hollywood Ten" and the blacklist of Hollywood writers, they had absolutely no relationship with Senator McCarthy.

They were unearthed by the House Un-American Activities Committee in the late 1940's. McCarthy was a Senator and was obviously not on a House committee. And his hearings were in the early 1950's. McCarthy's main targets were in the Army and the State Department (where many seem to still be).
