Thanks for this post. The scary thing is that this fool Gephardt might get voted in as President of the United States of America!
When CEO Gray-Davis caused the power shortage in California, he should have been sent to jail. Now, FINALLY, the good citizens of the Socialist Republic of California are trying to throw CEO Gray-Davis out of office.
As a professional politician, "Dickie" Gephardt has NO comprehension of responsibility to the voters, the State as a whole, or the Nation. Thus, the concept of being thrown out of office is beyond "Dickie's" intellectual capacity. He may be officially brain-dead: the blank look in his eyes as he speaks is a pretty good indicator.
Gephardt is THE perfect example of why there should be term limits for professional politicians.

You are wrong...We need a governor who will VETO some of the 1400 Tax and Spend bills coming of Sacramento each year which by the way are responsable for the nearly 40 BILLION Dollar deficit that is growing every day...

Well, Dick, we jerk them out of office for jerking in their office instead of watching over the defense of this nation.

NO, keep them coming. Let everyone see how really really stupid these people are. As a state, California is already bankrupt. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Let the liberals rule us into the ground.

BTW I have just learned that California's credit worthiness has being down graded to "Negative" by the Wall Street. First time for California, only State in the Union to receive such a low rate, courtesy of your Democrat Party lead Governor/Assembly/Senate.
I shure feel secure just about now, and my kids future looks...just peachy!

So little Dick doesn't think GWB is "doing a good job on any front".
This comes from the guy who has missed over 82% of his congressional votes this year.
What an ass*&^e!!

You're right that they're shocked that this liberal cesspool had the backbone to do this and it looks like it's gonna make it. Before this became little Tijuana and homeless-ville, the rest of the nation who is watching should realize we made history before with Prop 13 - the taxpayer's revolt, in just the same way. (Boy, are the Dems looking at ways to repeal and steal that money now). But as we all know, the press isn't liberally-biased :0
so the tone couldn't just be changing to turn the public opinion tide now, could it? I want this ba$tard outta here so badly I can taste it. New blockbuster movie heading your way soon: Total Recall II, starring Tom McClintock, with any luck. I don't give a $hit if it costs this state millions to do the recall - take it out of the illegal alien aid fund. OK, I've now reduced myself from
semi-coherent dialogue to a rant, so enough on this post! ;)

Dick Gephardt is a loser, supporting a loser, leading a state government of losers, elected by a population segment composed of losers.

The odds are in Davis's favor that he will win -- the left has an awesome get out the vote machine in Calif. and the right has nothing...How about the large block of voters in the center, between the left and the right? It'll be interesting to see which way they'll vote in the recall election.

Since the recall is bad for the GOP
then I take it that Gephart is all for it.
To: fightinJAG
If we assume that Davis is ousted and if we think of all the ensuing scenarios, we'll see that we have more to lose than gain. California is a mess nobody can fix.

To paraphrase an Italian anarchist:
Could we hang him with the entrails of Senator Orrin Hatch? or somethin' like that metaphorically speaking.

"how we improve anything by jerking people out of office"
Hmmmm? I seem to recall SEVERAL DEMOCRATS planning on IMPEACHING BUSH - I'd say that would be "jerking people out of office".
These people always have a double standard!!
