I don't see anything on the home page about FR being a republican site. I see the word conservatism mentioned twice in that paragraph.
I'm a Conservative first and foremost.
If the republican party ceases to be conservative (and these days a good case might be made) then I'm not a republican but I'll remain a conservative.

WE have 2 battles
1 is to keep the likes of Obama and Clinton out of the white house.
2 is to fight against the problems of the left side in the GOP.
If we give the white house to the Democrats because we don’t pick the right fight to wage first, what good have we done for our country?
The third party option has never ever ever won in this nation...but if we want to reform the GOP the time do to it is after we defeat the dems, not before the election.
They would sure love us if we did. Might as well cast our ballots for Obama.
My piece. I’ve been laying low during all the infighting cause it was such an exercise in futility. But now the writing is on the wall, and I know who the enemy is and I will do what I can to defeat him and/or her.

less libertarians than there used to be
less paleos too
but we are still pretty right of the GOP
unfortunately for the nation
I agree that to defeat liberals you need to defeat Democrats and that means elect Republicans.
I will never allow an enemy to get elected because I sat at home and not voted.
