So you own collection of tin foil garments?

Communism not spreading through central america, maybe socialism but hardly communism. Even FARC is now more interested in cocaine and money then ideology. Where, but Cuba, is communist nation in S. or C. America? Or do you see commie under all beds? Cuba not true communist either, since allow free business (small business) and courts euro capitalist investment.

China not communist but in name. They facist...allow state regulated semi-free enterprise.

Africa? Only thing that Africa in grip of is tribalism.

You delusional on Marxism. One time allies where just that, one time...that time is far gone. Only reason country like France or Germany American allie is because they feared Soviet army. Nothing to fear but American hegonism now.

As for having America's interest at heart...let me ask you easy question: is George Bush elected to take care of Seira Leon? Britian? S. Africa? Russia? France? Japan? If you answer no to this then you hypocrit if you expect other world leaders to have American interest at heart. Putin not elected to take care of America or hand Russian future over to America or to sacrifice Russian needs for America, if so he would be traitor. So, elected officials of a country elected to care for THEIR country, it is called soveriegnty...swoosh that word around, maybe the flavor will sink in.

Yes it is. Socialism is simply a half step towards communism. It lacks the ability to use force to stay in its present situation for any length of time and thus it will either revert to a more free society or it will give in to the side that sees an opportunity to grasp power for its own sake. Lenin seized upon this when the tsar’s royal family stepped down and finally was arrested. A weak socialist government took over, and soon it fell because it was easy prey to a stronger adversary i.e. Lenin and is band of thugs. Lenin knew that people need to consciously accept communism, and in order to do that they must freely accept those leaders who promise the people equality and fairness without them knowing their true intentions until its to late to stop them. To do it out right and not hid behind masks of deception, is open to utter failure, but as a RussianConservative you of all people should know this.

Lula da Silva is a member of a section in the labor movement that is hardened in its view of Marxism. It is well know in Brazil, but because Lula represents an utopian solution for Brazil to get out of its economic and political mess, the people are willing to believe anything and try anything, i.e. just like Lenin’s revolution. Any denying of Lula’s roots here means that you don’t want to confront the truth. Ecuador is ruled under a dictator who likes parts of the Marxist way, yet only in the fact that it keeps him in power, but behind him is the Chinese. Then there is Hugo Chavez, who is more open to accept Marxist principles than the former though probably not to the extent of Castro yet again behind him is Castro and more importantly the Chinese and both of their support to train radical Islamists in this country. Chavez has with their help, finally gained enough control that the people will never be able to force him out except by force. FARC is a Marxist group, they freely admit it and admit their goal is to use the drugs that they sell to fund Lenin’s Revolutionary process. One still needs money for arms, intel gathering, influence(elections and bribery), and any other resources deemed essential for the Revolution. As I am sure that you are well aware of, in the Cold War days the Soviets put a project together where drugs would be made and sold throughout the West in order to raise money for the Revolution(quite lucrative since it has reached several trillion dollars a year now) and more importantly the future leaders, i.e. the youth will be hindered, incapacitated, become self destructive, self absorbed, more prone to leftist thought(since it is root in an emotional base). It wasn’t their idea, they just noticed what Mao was doing in the 50's and then took it to an all knew dimension. Even Mao borrowed the idea for destroying the future generation of leaders, you see the Western powers when they still resembled some sense of imperialism, used opium to destroy the Chinese will, and it worked. You do remember the Opium Wars don’t you sir?

‘Africa? Only thing that Africa in grip of is tribalism’

Then there is Africa that you mention. Yes there is a great deal of tribalism that has reared its ugly head after the fall of colonial rule which by the way was attacked from every side by communist nations of the Cold War and the end result is a place that once had hope for peace and prosperity. It also did not help that the West abandoned the fight. Now it is a place of dispar, lack of values and morality which are needed for a flourishing civilization, and it is a stomping ground for influence from modern day Russia and China for building up the military might of thugs(some communist while others are just wanna be thugs). As it stands ‘Africa in grip of is tribalism’ is a brush over view on your part that does not take into consideration the history. It becomes just a poor means for you to dismiss my assertion. And here is the meat: South Africa is going through the same process as Brazil, yet it is in a more advance stage. The ANC keeps control in the public’s eye, but behind them is the SACP(South African Communist Party). Mandela who ushered in the ANC is an admitted communist along with his ex wife(its on video tape and several of his rallies over the years). Then there is Angola, who finally destroyed the last vestiges of resistance to their Marxist push when they killed Jonas Savimbi who was betrayed by the UN on several occasions to have peace talks. Many in the U.N. are extreme leftist(of many flavors and varieties). Then there is Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe. He has a PhD from a western University and is an admitted Marxist(crude and a bit unrefined yes, but so are most of those who are dictators of sorts in Africa yet they serve their purpose for the communist masters in China and Russia). Then there is Muamar Kadafi who associates himself with the ANC, Chavez, Castor, and Lula(see pictures here at free republic). I have made my point though, I know you will not agree, truth is all to often hard to admit.

Cuba is truly a communist nation, it has had 30 some years of direct Soviet say in how Castro was to run it prior to the communist fall. Admittedly, a communist defector by the name of Yan Sejna said Fidel Castro was to much of anarchist to be truly a Marxist but he is brother Raul Castro is and if Fidel dies Raul gets the prize. Then again their isn’t much of difference in the end between an anarchist and a Marxist, the outcome is the same. As far as commerce goes, Lenin did this back in the 1920's and called it the New Economic Policy. Lenin proclaimed communism as failed and opened her border to investment, industry, and new technology that the communists were in desperate need of if they where to prevent from collapsing from with in. And the foolish West bought into this and lost their shirt in the process when the fake openness was finally closed. Communism didn’t go away, it grew stronger and gave birth to Stalin(the next natural extension in the application of Leninism). This is a tactic that was tried time and time again. Three times under Stalin, once again under Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid Brezhnev, and what is to make one think anything has chanced in the 1990's? Where is the true reforms, if their where any then Russia would be a better place than under the communist system yet it is not. The communist hide themselves as Mafiya, cloaked themselves as reformed yet remain corrupt as ever, or became ‘business men’. Those who have spoken out in the past are dead by various means, usually killed by masked mean who are ruthless in their killing yet are very professional in the operations(only military and state acts to such ends) Why should I think otherwise and as the old saying goes, once bitten twice shy, though the West never seems to get this but I do and so do a few others.

‘China not communist but in name. They facist...allow state regulated semi-free enterprise.’

Then there is China. Not communist by name you say? There fascist you say? Semi-Free enterprises you say? Those semi-free enterprises are run by high Chinese political officials, their sons and daughters(princelings), and the military(PLA). This hardly strikes me as fascist, since it is the state that controls the industry via committed members of the Chinese Communist Party which use openness to create the illusion of true capitalist enterprises. Oh and I forgot, to some degree the Triads who the State keeps around to subvert other countries political and economic system(another form of warfare). Deng Xiaoping theory(Marxism with a soft face in order to gain trust of the West in order to modernize which was China’s and to some extent still is China’s problems otherwise there is no hope for it to take on the United State) is openly embraced by Xiang Zemin and now his successor Hu Jinto. I have the tape where Zemin openly professed the Communist Parties out look for the future at the last party congress some months ago before he stepped down. Out in the open for all to see yet no one willing to listen to it or watch it on CSPAN. China is a Maoist country(mixture of communism and imperial rule). The way you characterized China as you did, you show a total lack of understanding of China and here history. You could not provide any evidence for the assertion you made yet it becomes undisputable in your world view, anything else you dismiss with out any regard to the facts of history and strategy.

‘You delusional on Marxism. One time allies where just that, one time...that time is far gone. Only reason country like France or Germany American allie is because they feared Soviet army. Nothing to fear but American hegonism now.’

Allies that keep the Western view of morality and truth are hardly one time as you put it, but in cases like France and Germany(after its reunification that absorbed a good deal of Marxist/Leninist organizations created by the Soviet Union with the fall and that is fact) they have clearly rejected the Western view that has created so much. But Spain hasn’t, Portugal, Great Britain, and other European countries have not rejected that system, but the organization they belong to and with each passing year they loose their sovereignty to the same organization made up of socialist, communists, fascists, and Nazis. You know we had a period like this where such ideologies came to mix together into a volatile setting once before during the 1930's and 1940's(and look how many died as a result of this deadly mixture). And given histories ability to repeat itself, this is a clear warning sign that you dismiss for whatever reason. Now the two embrace Russia, they feed Russia with investment and technology at their own expense of the future. The Weimar Republic made such investments during the 20's and 30's(under Hitler) and look what happened. Hitler was forced to attack Stalin because Stalin was getting ready to attack Hitler after he ravaged Europe. All of Europe would have fallen to communism, but thank God that their was America to at least temper Stalin’s cravings and there to crush Hitler’s army.

And you say we have ‘Nothing to fear but American hegonism now’. You sir have shown your true colors and you should have been more careful before exposing yourself when making this charge. You contradict yourself and history but then again those who are of leftist thought are always force to rewrite history to suite their view. There is Western hegemony that built a stability in countries that accepted it and they prospered, those that didn’t or rejected it fell into turbulent times of totalitarianism that caused the death of well over 200 million people last century. But I guess their deaths where in the best interests of the systems that killed them, right? I mean God forbid someone comes along and challenges them that they are wrong and shows to be absolutely true, and then actually does something about it.

However, your own hatred has clouted our judgement. China is arming and creating its own hegemony in Asia, Africa, and South America. Russia is creating its own hegemony in Europe, parts of Asia, and Africa. So you say we only have to fear America. Both Russia and China have a long history of this behavior in the past and old habits die hard. America is unwilling to confront them head on, so they grow stronger in influence and military might. Yet America is the only threat. If the spread of truth and freedom is such that it is danger, no wonder why you see American hegemony as a threat. You obviously prefer death worshiping over the lives of people which brings me to another point.

‘As for having America's interest at heart...let me ask you easy question: is George Bush elected to take care of Seira Leon? Britian? S. Africa? Russia? France? Japan? If you answer no to this then you hypocrit if you expect other world leaders to have American interest at heart. Putin not elected to take care of America or hand Russian future over to America or to sacrifice Russian needs for America, if so he would be traitor. So, elected officials of a country elected to care for THEIR country, it is called soveriegnty...swoosh that word around, maybe the flavor will sink in.’

Now where did I say ‘if you expect other world leaders to have American interest at heart’? No where, but it is clearly to anyone who understand world events and history that some ways of doing thing work better and benefit the people of their respective countries better than other approaches. The Western thought that had created America is the best to come into existence to date. Those that have rejected this notion have had to enslave their respective populations to protect their power grab from it. Putin has enslaved his population through poverty, if he cared for their freedom and welfare he would free them from the corruption that binds them to poverty. Yet he does no such thing, he says he will but in a world of reality actions, not words, speak. If you are Russian, then you should know this. Where is Putin’s ruthlessness to deal with those that are raping his own country from with in, and give hope to the people? Its no were to be seen, yet he coddles Stalinists of Belarus and the DPRK(North Korea) and toasts Stalin with is ‘former’ colleagues of the FSB/KGB on Stalin’s birth day. I thought Russia condemned Stalin for his atrocities under Khrushchev’s directive, and forget his own complicity in Stalin’s murderous campaign. Ah, but old ways always die the hard way(by force). Poor ‘little Andropov’ as he is know by those in power can do nothing else than spread the disease of the Marxist/Leninist thought process. Denial of this, and you deny the future prosperity of Russia.

Your attempt to trap me with words that I did not say, clearly shows your own hypocrisy and aversion for the truth. Fiction and fairytales of greener pastures on the other side of the fence are more your speed. Once again it is the value and moral system that America adopted, that has given America her prosperity and all those who follow it. If that is followed then it is naturally in the interests of America. All benefit from such a system. Those that reject it or avoid it do so at their own peril since they are ripe for Revolution. It is also funny that you place Britain and Japan in with countries that don’t hold a western value system. Even more ironic is that America learned a great deal of this system from Britain. Can you at least form a coherent thought, rather than throwing the proverbial bags of dung on the wall to see what you can get to stick. Anyway, this being the case what is wrong with accepting such a system? After all, by doing so the hegemony of the West grows in peace, prosperity, truth, and real freedoms. Anything else to date is illusionary, unless of coarse you can point out a system that would work, perhaps one that you have devised yourself that doesn’t involve over bearing control from the state resulting in mass murder of a gulag system and such other systems but rather a responsible and moral people. If you do, I am all ears and eyes. However I have my doubts because you show no signs of a free person in your writings. You are stuck in an ideology that enslaves your mind from anything that would get you to open your mind. You say things like: ‘So, elected officials of a country elected to care for THEIR country, it is called sovereignty...swoosh that word around, maybe the flavor will sink in.’‘ I guess we should just sit back, have a cold one and let those that enslave their people get a pass. Right? We should ignore them because the act of freeing people and teaching them to be responsible is far more EVIL than letting a thug murder and ruin the lives of millions of people. I full understand your position, only men of great stature and understanding have what it takes to do what is right. However there is still hope for you yet if you choose to embrace the truth.

That being said, you sir are truly a disturbed individual to sweep all these past and ongoing atrocities under the rug and make it sound like nothing is there and only America is the problem. It borders on the line of protecting those systems by trying to dismiss, deny, and create the truth into some sort of boggy man. This is not the action of a free thinking individual, it is the action of someone who has an agenda or is just blind or even both. I hope for your own future you decide to study things on your own rather than repeating the ranting of lunatics who only seek power for the sake of power. If you are indeed Russian, it is the people that are in need of justice from those who hurt them the most, which always comes from there leaders. No country is safe from this, but for the moment America still has a good life its just to bad that the American people like the Russian people don’t have an appreciation for the truth. Those that don’t, eventual loose that freedom and are unlikely to ever gain it back.

By the way, save your tin foil for your lies and distortions.

Here is what a true Russian Conservative (or, even more correctly, a true Russian Rightist) would be calling for:

1. All "former" Communists, including Putin, to be tried as war criminals a la Nuremberg.

2. A mass de-Sovietization program.

3. Open, zero notice inspections of all military sites to preclude cheating and breaking of pie crust treaties.

4. Immediate cessation of all ties with the DPRK, PRC, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan (yes, that's right, Pakistan), Iran, Syria, Libya, Zimbabwe, Angola, Cuba, Venezuela and all other commie countries.

Well?

He's an SVR agent in "Conservative" clothing. As we know, many attempts are currently underway to divide and conquer the Western Right. As moderate as Bush is, his election gave the Trans Eurasian Axis a scare; they were fully expecting Gore to win. Now that the Right have gained confidence here, we stand as a stumbling block and must be neutralized. Naturally, not only do the Axis curry favor with Western Leftist, Anarchist, Peacenick and other anti government forces, they also pose as false "Conservatives" preaching economic libertarianism in parallel with geopolitical suicide, while others among the Axis pose as "patriots" who stir Jacobin rage against the governing institutions. The oldest Commie trick in the book; divide and conquer. We must not be suckers for it.

Oh, so start civil war by prosecuting even one's parents. Now, 20% of population were party members...so new genocide maybe? Total economic anarchy, upheaval and erasing of all that rebuilt in past years....yes very good. Then cut all ties with all other nations so can be isolated and vulnerable. Yes, very good idea. Then maybe West so kind as to come and break up the old Rodina into smaller more manageable pieces? To suck dry? I know, several American political advisors call for just that. Thank you but no.

De sovietization already happened...but I get feeling you never go to Russia so have no idea.

Your ideas are suicide, so they stay your ideas.

The supposed "end of the Cold War" bore a strong resemblance to the "settlement" of 1919, which ended WW-I in a very unstable state. The failure to dicatate terms of unconditional surrender to the Axis opened the door to WW-II. Similarly, the failure of NATO / the US to dictate terms of unconditonal surrender at the supposed end of the Cold War boldly points out the lie of it all; the fact is there was no clear end to it. There were no treaties, no occupation of the Axis, no discernable settlement; making it even a weaker conclusion than was the Treaty of Versailles. And, due to this ambiguous "end" of the Cold War, the stage was set for the next and inevitable hot war. Deny it though you may, history counsels us to heed this.

The only Commies I see are the ones in the "former" USSR who were never prosecuted / executed for their crimes; and the ones elsewhere who form the core of the so called "peace movement" and all other corrosive movements which are undermining the West. An example of the latter set of categories - International Answer.

Oh an by the way RE:"4. Immediate cessation of all ties with the DPRK, PRC, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan (yes, that's right, Pakistan), Iran, Syria, Libya, Zimbabwe, Angola, Cuba, Venezuela and all other commie countries. "

Somehow you do not seem to want to touch this one with a 10 foot pole. Is there a particular reason? And by the way, I did notice your (incorrect) labelling of me as a fascist. Now THAT is very interesting. That particular choice of labelling, coming from an "ex" Soviet, is, well, very Communist. The Communists always refered / refer to the West as "fascists" and have consistently intermingled this term freely with the term "Capitalist." Very interesting indeed!

What unconditional surrender? Where were NATO troops in Russian streets? Oh, not there. Why? Because Russian peoples not NATO troops overthrew Soviets. Why weren't you in front lines? Hmmm? If you want war so much and unconditional surrender, go start rallies to start WW3. Occupation? You delusional. You not live in real world but in fantasy paranoia. I have nothing to say to man who lives on dark side of the moon.

No, but my father has run a Heating and Air Conditioning company for many years. He can't find enough people with clean driving records (so he can put them in a service truck with insurance,) the ability to do basic math and the drive to learn the basic skills required to install and service heating and air equipment.

In Alabama (pay scales are not that high here) he pays $12 or $13/hr for a good work ethic and a strong back and $15 to $20 for fully trained techs (a couple of years at tech school at night.)

There you go, you've made my point for me. Could it be that the reason for the Soviets to "manage their own demise" was to avoid getting stomped by Reagan and formally occupied by NATO? Naw.... there were / are NO devious strategists in Moscow.... none whatever! (/sarcasm).

So therefore, you admit that the West did not win the Cold War? For if the West COULD NOT have invaded and occupied the Warsaw Pact at the "moment of Soviet demise" then that seems to imply that that "moment of demise" was not much of a demise? True?
