Thanks for your reply! One of the other posters seemed to link Geragos to the Clintons somehow, or at least that's the way I read it. Have you seen any connection here to the "FOOTOO's" (former occupants of the Oval Office)? That would be a newsworthy angle, IMHO.

I agree with you about Hannity. I'm just so tired of talking heads shouting each other down (about anything and everything) instead of debating sensibly.

Why is Amy Rocha called a "half sister" ? She says in the Couric interview that she and Laci "would go to their Dad's farm on weekends"

I followed this from the beginning and never paid attention to the reason of the "half". Is she her Father and step mother's child ? If so, was she living with Sharon and present husband? What about the brother ?

Another thing I found interesting in the interview last night, was when Sharon was telling how after they found out she was missing, they, and a group of people went to the park and searched. Calling out her name, checking ponds, etc. Couric asked her if Scott was there too. She answered "Yes he was". Couric asked what his demenor was. Was he concerned? distraught? (paraphrased)..and Sharon answered " No, he was subdued, and while everyone was yelling for her..searching..he was on his cell phone" (paraphrased).

He is one cool cucumber.

I also found it interesting that in the interview ,that Laci's step father, questioned Scott if he was having an affair. To him, it made more sense than Scott going fishing that day. Scott answered "no", and the step father accepted it. It was not expounded upon after that.

My thought was, unless that doubt had been there before for some reason, why would he ask that question?

And to "monitor" the search in the bay out of a sense of innocent curiosity. After all, they were searching the bay because HE had put himself there when Laci went missing!!

Defense laywers and democrats have this little trick of trying to focus on one teeny aspect of a story, thereby trying to render certain acts as "innocent". Innocent unless you look at all of the facts and context of a story.

Just in case no one clicked on the above URL.....In part, this is STANDARD BEHAVIOR, ...I guess.

Another disturbing aspect of Gerargos' conduct: While he was telling the court and the media that his client was innocent, he was in possession of a smoking-gun audiotape showing Clinton admitting to cops that he had consumed "probably four or five beers" on the night of his arrest.

Wolcott told NewsMax.com that prosecutors had provided Geragos with a copy of the tape, made during his client's arrest.

"Mr. Geragos allowed his client to falsely claim on national television, on the Larry King show, that he had only two beers," Wolcott noted. "Meanwhile, he apparently knew that wasn't true."

Sharon said she was screaming out Laci's name and looking in trash cans. It was heartbreaking to hear. Amy also recounted the "Scott was more concerned with placing phone calls" aspect.

As to Ron's question to Scott, while I think it possible he suspected Scott had a dark side before, he did not say that. My sense was by the time he asked that question, Laci had been gone so long he was racking his brain with possibilites and may have just then considered the possibility. It is not clear that he suspected such behavior before that Christmas Eve. They all professed to think Laci and Scott were very happy before that horrible day.
