You are joking right?
I personally know someone who has a felony from 15 years ago, no trouble since. Got into a clash of opinion with a new neighbor who, after claiming that she, "knew how to take care of *problems* in her neighborhood" constantly called the police for any and every thing she could make-up.

BECAUSE of that felony 6 shotgun shells almost got him 2 years and DID get him booted from neighborhood. He lived there 6 years before this without ANY problems with the police or otherwise.

When it suits their needs LE can make ANYONE seem bad. That particular LE got a much wanted up in funding before it was over by "showing" that there just wasn't enough police officers to go around.
Of course this was after this same woman got up and complained at 2 city council meetings that 35 of her 97 calls had gone unanswered.

IOW's a black and white didn't show up they just took her complaint.
