"do you honestly think that *nothing* will ever be done *anywhere* when this disease begins to be seen? "That's not what I said. I said it's going to be a matter of policy dispute. Some like the Toronto mayor are going to go balistic when things happen like WHO rightly issuing a travel advisory. Other's will put appropriate quarantines in place until the threat passes.
You might think everyone will respond rationally to the threat and act in other's best interest to contain it. But we have already seen that is not true.
