Crazy Muslim extremists -- oh wait, crazy Christian Fundamentalist extremists ...

Singular, not plural. More of a counterpart to Ted "Earth in the Balance" Kaczynski than the worldwide Islamist terror networks that kill thousands annually.

Kind of a ridiculous comparison, but I guess you have to take whatever angle you can get when you're advocating the slaughter of innocent children.

But I don't think they'd disagree that the cold-blooded killing of an innocent person is murder.

I wonder if he'll get the wrath of the law bestowed upon him as harshly as the likes of "The Juice" did? He deserves it!~

I really doubt our founders would kill doctors who removed embryos out of mother's wombs by consent.

They would know killing babies is murder, even without modern science that proves that embryos are human babies. Some use that word to soothe their concience, some have no concience.

Our "founding fathers" would have never have brought the subject to issue for it, at the time, was not comprehendable. So much for the promotion of the idea of humankind evolving to a higher and more sensible plateau.

I believe that once they have heartbeats, they are lives. However, I don't put up that big of a fight because if their parent/parents does/do not see them as lives then they are probably better off going straight on to heaven....

"There is no amount of manpower that is too much to preserve a woman's right to kill her baby. This guy was a threat to the main tenet of liberalism."

And the enemy of your enemy is your friend?

"some of those threads are truly embarrassing and disturbing."

Were you around in September 2001 when people on FR were calling internment camps for American muslims, on the model of WWII internment camps for Americans of Japanese descent?

Fetus is a Latin word that means young one or little child.

Yes, I was. I saw surprisingly little of that. Given what had happened, I would have anticipated more. I saw some venting, I saw a few people acting like fools, and many more people putting the fools in their place.

It's not our decision...even the unwanted should have a chance.

I am glad you recognize what you do...at your age...sadly ..I did not.

Salute!

I believe that once they have heartbeats, they are lives.

Roughly four weeks into pregnancy. The vast number of abortions are performed well after this period. By your own definition, lives are being destroyed, for profit.

However, I don't put up that big of a fight because if their parent/parents does/do not see them as lives then they are probably better off going straight on to heaven....

That's a rationalization, unless you really believe the rights of all young lives are subject to the emotional whims of the mother. It sounds more like you don't fight because you'd just rather not be bothered.

I wish you would not use logic here. Deductions are hard things.

"I saw surprisingly little of that".

You were expecting more?

Well, who am I to argue -- maybe you know FR better than I do.

I was pleasantly surprised by how little hysterical reaction there was, both on Free Republic and in America in general. The reaction here was pretty much the same as everywhere.

And it would not shock me to find out that I know America (and FR) better than you.

It's not our decision...even the unwanted should have a chance. I agree, but if the majority of voters is going to put in those that will not stop it, I'm not going to commit acts of violence. God will take care of them.
