The autopsy report leak is interesting. I highly question how it can be "skewed in favor of the defense." As I read the leaked info my first thought was, Scaughty is more evil than I thought.

Remember on Diane Sawyer he fumbled when talking about the baby and said something to the effect of "that was hard to take...is hard to take". (I'm sure someone out there has the actual quote). On a more stomach churning note, maybe Scaughty wanted to "see" what his son would look like before he offed him.

Yeah right, Mark. This is becoming so OJish it makes me have flashbacks.

I watched that entire trial and it surely didn't help my blood pressure. This is heading quickly down the same path, but sometimes I find Geragos actually more despicable than Johnny Cochran (if that's possible).

I think it was a total miscalculation on Geragos' part. Remember, the first words used were "noose," "cut," "stabbed."

I honestly believe they thought it would shore up their cult defense.

Unfortunately, as the day went on, the truth became clear, leaving Geragos (and Dan Abrams and MSNBC) with egg on their face -- the very 'egg' that Geragos had promised would be on the prosecutor's face just last week.

Well, now Cyril Wecht is on MSNBC, directly contradicting Abrams report. He thinks it is bay debris and that the baby was born after she was in the water.

Personally, I think the police and prosecutors were under such pressure to get this guy that maybe they didn't get their "ducks in a row" and now the defense is using this against them - like in the Simpson case.

Yeah, but GERALDO is doing the "Tea For Two" cha,cha,cha and just said on FNC that the person who leaked yesterdays report was "FRIENDLY to the Defense".

Geraldo is backing away from "The Dark Side" and sounds like he is becoming sympathic to the Prosecution..again.
