"Why would you strangle a dead baby?" You would not, of course!!
"As far as I know from what has been said by experts, this was a coffin birth. The little one would have been dead in the womb for some time."
The energy to push the remains through the birth canal is supplied by decomposition gasses ie.Coffin Birth....
Why should we believe ANY forensic expert?
Multiple choice ca be fun!....;-(

Jackie P continues to do herself and her son in by calling into these shows. I bet Gregaros would like to invest in some duct tape to put around that woman's mouth. So true! Jackie is neither gracious nor well spoken and IMO she makes the situation worse just by being so vocal. Her alternate whining and wheezing grate on the nerves. Scott would be well to tell her to step out of the spotlight.

LOL!
No dear, I didn't mean you..
But some of our resident *psychics* make me hope they are never on my jury pool. The facts don't matter to some of these people. They run on 100% emotion and intuition.
I think he probably did it, because statistically that's the best bet. But if the facts don't square with that, then I would have no problem turning him loose.
(as opposed to executing someone based on voodoo hunches and if they "look" guilty)

If attorneys told Rochas also about wanting to videotape them in the house, perhaps that was part of the straw that finally broke the back of their patience? So sad.

I'm playing catch up, but just saw a lawyer on MG team state, on the lawn, that it was "possible" that evidence could have been planted for all they knew, that they had planned to video tape anything removed from the house. This guy was so pi$$ed, it was pricesless.
Excuse me, Mr. Lawyer, any "evidence" that even, might have, maybe, possibly, could have escaped the previous passes by the previoius crime scene inspections and official searches has been long gone thanks to none other than Scott, who inhabited the house for several months on and off. Then, his family has had access among many others, so, it more likely something is missing than found. But for the heck of it, just say something turns up, suddenly....won't be able to be used now for that very reason--cannot prove it was part of the actual crime as too many have had access.
So, MG and company has everything to lose by going after the Rochas, and more power to them on this one. Couldn't happen to ....
I imagine, given one two punch of Jackie MIL from hell stating that there was nothing of Laci's left in the house on Greta's the other night, plus the devestating news about the reports yesterday, that about did it for Sharon, and who the heck blames her?

I think the autopsy leak did it.
Or maybe they just got sick and tired of watching the law being twisted and decided to PUSH BACK.

The prosecution evidently has both physical and circumstantial evidence which has not yet been revealed, or they would not have planned to arrest Scott even before the bodies were recovered. We don't know what the physical evidence is that they have, but there has certainly been plenty of circumstantial evidence.
I was a juror in a criminal trial (murder) in which we were instructed that circumstantial evidence is as valid as physical evidence.

Well, it's not..
Taken together a circimstancial case can be strong enough for a conviction. But apart from other evidence it becomes suspect.
"Circumstancial" evidence is just that..

Claudia Cowan, on Fox Report, said Matt Dalton, one of Geragos' attorneys assisting in this case (again, who's paying This guy, too?), said they had wanted to videotape Rocha's while they were in the house. No wonder Sharon felt something had to be done now! What a total insult.
While I'm having problems understanding how Geragos went from thinking Scott was guilty as sin, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. What I can NEVER accept is Geragos going from having empathy for Laci's family to suggesting they would actually plant incriminating evidence. He's slime!

"He should not be able to do that AND get a change of venue IMO" He will get the change of venue.....Modesto is running 90%+/- against Scott!

This guy was so pi$$ed, it was pricesless. Oh, I would love to have seen that. LE has already released the house meaning they have already gone tip to toe. They won't be back to collect anything any more.

"Circumstancial" evidence is just that.. Again, I'm no expert but I'm going with Carolinamom on this one. I have heard many, many times that circumstantial evidence is as just as strong. The alternative is an eyewitness to a murder. Which means the defense calls into question the eyesight of the eyewitness, plus their ability to distinguish features, how far Away were they, how good was the light, how tired were you, can you see without your glasses?

Are you a lawyer?
To: Howlin
WOW...so MG threatens a war...I have not had the TV on today....seems like I missed a lot.
Well, the sympathies of the whole country will be with the Rochas.
Maybe MG has backed himself into a dirty little corner.
To: Velveeta
But... but... I thought "there was nothing left of Laci in that house"! ??? Why would Jackie have said that if it wasn't true??
This is an example of pure public pressure being brought to bear. I can't think of any legal right at the moment for the Rochas to get in there. THAT IS NOT TO SAY THEY DON'T HAVE SOME INCHOATE LEGAL RIGHT.
But it was just the decent thing to do, to let them have what they wanted. And the family had to go to the media to even get Scott's family to do this one decent thing.
To: STOCKHRSE
He will get the change of venue.....Modesto is running 90%+/- against Scott! True. But, as has been pointed out on the evening shows, the rest of the country is not far behind in exposure and thoughts of Scott's guilt.

Check it out! The Rochas just went on in the Covena Avenue house! Reminds me of the friend I told you about who went and got her stuff from the ex!

Years ago, the mother of one of my students who was a realtor disappeared after she went to meet a prospective client. Her body was never found, but the "client", who worked as a heavy equipment operator grading land, was convicted on circumstantial evidence.

No.
The alternative is an eyewitness to a murder.
No, no, no..
"Evidence" (for example) is the tape.
"Circumstancial evidence" (for example) could be something like last year when I was carrying a muddy shovel through the yard at 2:00 AM during a thunderstorm.
I am sure that would have been unexplainable had there been a murder & burial that night somewhere in my area...
(When the truth is, my yard flooded and I was modifying a drainage ditch. As unbelieveable as I KNOW that sounds.)
