When Shep was on his 3pm-est. show and was reporting on this, he was relatively disgusted regarding the autopsy report on Connor. Made comments about watching 'another network' for an hour before he went on the air and was ticked off at their reporter's comments that this story would help defense (very evident he was talking about Dan Abrams and MSNBC).

When Shep closed the segment, he said something to the effect that the reason we (Fox) covered this story today, is because people watch and that means ratings.

Normally, if he's on the 3pm show, he's on the Fox Report; wondered if he got chastised for that ratings remark and/or his demeanor, which seemed highly agitated. To be fair, I was agitated too, but then I'm not on tv!

I guess you haven't followed my posts on the subject.
I've posted on that column and the specific content of that column.

In fact, the gossip column did *not* say that Amber had agreed to pose nude for half a million dollars. The only people saying so, or claiming to be "saddened" and so forth by her choice to do so, are the ones on this thread.

That's because Velveeta posted that fox was reporting Amber had agreed to such a deal. Not only was Fox *not* reporting that Amber had agreed to such a deal (Velveeta made an erroneous post to such effect in post #5), the gossip column only including the speculations of some unnamed source on the subject.

This source said "he would not be surprised" if Amber decided to pose nude, and the fellow further speculated on the amount of money such pictures would be worth.
Not only did the column not say that Amber had agreed to such a deal, or was considering such a deal, it did not even state that she had been OFFERED such a deal.

Anyone who takes speculation about what Amber MIGHT do any what she MIGHT get for it as some sort of indication that she has agreed to pose for half a million, is a few fruit loops short of a full bowl.

You might also take it with THIS grain of salt - Adams had info on the Winona shenanigans that probably came from Geragos. I "wouldn't be surprised" to find this nasty smear came straight from the Geragos camp and that it was successful in its intended effect.

It's got people starting rumors that she has ACTUALLY ACCEPTED the deal and will get half a million dollars to pose nude sometime in the near future. Where did THAT rumor start...the one that has her actually accepting the deal? HERE.

I have my facts straight. FOx *never* reported that Amber had accepted a 500,000 dollar fee to pose nude, as Velveeta claimed in post five. The only people "reporting" such a deal are people here on FR.

Fox only reported that an item had appeared in Adams gossip column with an unkown person saying "he would not be surprised" if Amber did such a thing. The fellow went on to speculate what price such pictures might be expected to fetch.

If the column insinuates that Amber has signed a deal to pose nude, it certainly doesn't say she has. In fact, not only did the column not state that she had even received an offer, let alone state that she had agreed to a deal or was in the middle of trying to negotiate one.

Just one, unknown source (called a "he" in the column) says he wouldn't be surprised if Amber Frey did such a thing, and the same he speculated on what the pictured might fetch in dollars.

I'd be interested in your speculations on what my opinion of Amber Frey is. I imagine you would be wrong, based on your tone.

However, you might be well advised that there are folks who want to make sure as many people as possible see her as a low, conniving, greedy camera whore who is out to profit from the blood of Laci and Connor Peterson.

I wouldn't regret it Vel.. You did what you heard.. Simple as that! Media has a habit of distorting the news, only at times they don't retract and immediately correct it, or they do, near the back of the pages, in small print. So, media led the people on. It won't just happen to you, it will others too....

We can put that happy face on...LOL...I thought that prank I did would get ya....lol...
