The idea of Laci and Connor deaths spawning a nude photo contract makes me ill.I'm sure that the idea of Amber capitalizing on the deaths of Laci and Connor is just another "nail in the coffin" for the Rochas. It is for me. :0(

I just heard this report on Fox; they said she has been OFFERED the money, but they didn't say she TOOK the offer.

Gloria will have to set the record straight. My guess is by tonight (greta) we will find out if this "gossip" is true or not.
Did I just catch David Asman (FOX) saying Gloria will be on at 2PM ?

Did they say she had accepted the offer, or jsut that it had been offered? Fox said she had been offered the money, not that she took it.

Whoops! Wasn't Liz Smith, was Cindy Adams...I stand corrected..blush.
"May 29, 2003 -- WE speak now of Amber Frey, that girlfriend of that Laci Peterson pig husband. People are muttering they won't be startled, surprised, stunned, shocked if they hear she OKs a Playboy spread. The sum bandied about as a could-be should-be would-be offer is $500,000.
Amber's high-cotton lawyer Gloria Allred has a high success rate, which also comes with high maintenance. Although Gloria's into publicity, she's even more into being highly paid.
The mutters are: Amber didn't necessarily need a high-profile lawyer just to be a witness. And that Amber is a masseuse and somehow masseuses sometimes have something in their backgrounds someplace that have as many kinks somewhere as their clients' bones.
If a masseuse with small money hires a big lawyer, wouldn't it be neat if half a mil suddenly fell into one of their laps?
Is all I'm saying."

There's not one WORD of fact in that paragraph.
It's so typical of the way "news people" "report" stuff.

Howlin, it's just more grist for the mill. Of course, I personally would be disappointed if Amber did this before the trial starts, for obvious reasons.
Geragos has to be grinning more than usual today..darn-it anyway.

Thanks. My tv in other room BLARING!
Like you, I can't imagine her lawyer letting her do this. I wouldn't want to be on Allred's bad side.

FOX and Friends now reporting that Amber has signed a deal to pose for a NUDIE centerfold for 1/2 million dollars!!!
G-L-O-R-I-AAAA
THAT is how Ms. Allred is getting paid.

NOW I see that. Thought it was a done deal. All that html for nothing. Geragos is grinning alright....this story might be his doing.
To: RGSpincich
What they reported is that a GOSSIP columnist wrote this. They DIDN'T say it was true.

Surely not. You know he's never do such a thing as put out false information.
I'm sure he's way too busy -- still looking for those receipts that he claimed Winona Ryder had for all those clothes she stole.
Or maybe he's still looking for those tapes he claimed existed that would prove the police framed Roger Clinton!

Ah hah! That is it! Geragos wants the public, potential jury to begin to notion that Amber is just in it for the love of money!!! Impeach the witness?
