Tasmanian devil? They better remember to keep the sharpened wooden instruments away from these little devils next time.

"Try that on an American plane, and you will get shot by the pilot."Nah, once the passengers were done with him there would be nothing left to shoot. I honestly believe that the heroes of Flight 93 have changed the way these things play out forever. Nevertheless, kudos to the flight attendants and passengers in this case.

Now, get out there and bust more internet bong peddlers, drape nude works of art because of your sexual obsessions, and annihilate the bill of rights. Just doin yer job to set the table for tyranny, makin' the bed for the beast. Useful idiot.

Are they being PC in not identifying the race of the attacker? Surely that would answer a few questions. Or perhaps the name could identify religious affiliation?
To: AmericanVictory
Obviously not a terrorist; we can write that off without examining the possibility. It seems that none of these types of incidents are considered terrorism unless (a) the suspect is carrying an official Al Qaeda ID; and (b) he actually hijacks and crashes the plane. Reid and the LAX shooter weren't terrorists either according to early reports.

" it doesn't look like it was an act of terrorism,"
That is the very nature of terrorist attacks is it not?
This reporter is stupid.
They are trying to find out what the guys GIVEN name was, instead of his islamic name, and probably wont tell us even if he was a recent convert to the religion of pieces.
But, MY GUESS, is that ANY such incidents, will be reported as NOT looking like terrorist activity... and the public would be wise to believe, just the opposite. ASSUME it is, until there is proof positive this guy is not an arab or islamic sympathizer.
but hey, it's just me.

Is that chalk dust or... anthrax?!! Absolutely no chalk allowed on planes!
Future flights will require all passengers to ride naked, locked to their seats. If you need to get up to go to the restroom or scratch your nose, ring for the stewardess who will see that your needs are met.

Anderson said the wooden weapon had gone through security checks unnoticed, calling the oversight a "lesson about unforeseen tools being used." In a few years, the only airline left will be the one where you fly naked.

Don't forget that the pen is mightier than the sword. Ban pens from all flights immediately!

"If you call an attempt to crash an aircraft, you might call that a hijacking. I call it attempted mass murder and considering such an attack would terrorize air passengers on future flights around the world, I'd call it an act of terrorism.
"Robert Reid" carried no note but his intent was to kill Westerners and scare the world (it might have even been brushed off as an unsolved air disaster, after all who'd believe that someone wore a shoe bomb).
Charles Bishop/Bishra crashed a stolen plane into a building in Florida. His suicide note called it terrorism (although that word was scratched out by someone).
The suits are shills with blinders on.

The passenger, originally described as a man, has now been identified as American journalist Helen Thomas. So it was a passenger of arab descent.

Qantas is excellent, almost as good as Air New Zealand.,,, doing the long stretches, Cathay Pacific is up there too.

Are they being PC in not identifying the race of the attacker? Surely that would answer a few questions. Or perhaps the name could identify religious affiliation? Except that names like Charles Bishop, Robert Reid, and Johnny Walker are generally floated out first as cover. All of these men had muslim names (Charles Bishra's mom changed the last name "out of fears" of harassment around Gulf War I, they were separated though and her husband is still a wanted man). There is a game of 20 questions that goes on with these stories. It's like pulling teeth to get details in these events. Charles Bishop was originally played up as a young conservative. His suicide note would indicate otherwise.
Just because someone is not tied to a larger organization does not mean that their acts cannot cause terror or create mass death.
If someone stands on the street corner with a sign, is he a protestor or must he belong to an organization that protests? The same is true of a terrorist.
Were the DC snipers terrorists? What about the guy at the Air Israel counter at LAX?
I keep hearing about how we have faced no domestic threats since 9.11.2001 but I don't believe that.

So from this report, we are led to believe that this was a relgious follower but no light is shed on the religion that he follows.
With words like Armageddon, we are being led down a path that he is a Christian. If that is the case, why not just state it?

So he talked about Armageddon, he looked like an ordinary Australian by one account, and he may have just lost a job.
The early "facts" point to a kook of Christian background. What will later "facts" point to?
Since the press lied about the motives and ties in the Reid case and the LAX shooting, it's too easy to assume the same here, but what little is stated so far does not point to an Islamic terrorist. We'll see.
