Then again, there are so many lies floating around regarding the Pollard case that I know about, that for all I know everything put out there may be lies.Oh, my sides, tops, bottoms, ups, downs and in-betweens.
One of the most astounding just released:
Loftus then writes that a low-level decision was finally made in the Navy's intelligence service to re-examine the Pollard case, and "with sickening chagrin, the Navy discovered that the evidence needed to clear Pollard had been under its nose all along" - namely, that Pollard did not have the special "blue stripe" clearance needed for access to the room in which the list of secret American agents inside Russia was kept.
"There is no way on earth," Loftus concludes, "that Jonathan Pollard could have entered the file room, let alone the safe where the list was kept."
Total, absolute bushwah.

Millions, naah, hundreds of millions, perhaps billions of dollars.
As long as he's Jewish, of course. Baah.
Read my posts again on this and other Pollard threads before pulling the just as long as he's a Jew *rap.
You are one dumb *hit, marujo. Try adding something of value to the thread.

What matters is his betrayal and the betrayal of Israel.Israel pounding on the Pollard case is as redundant as others who use the Liberty to discredit Israel. Funny, I thought what mattered was justice. Many percieve a lack there of in this case.

So will Mr. Olson's present position -- assuming it is the Mr. Olson -- help Mr. Pollard.

No, I think you're an American woman staying in Canada illegally due to her close connections to Ernst Zundel. Helloooo, Texoma.....Do you think Tex will follow Zundel back to Germany when Canada deports him?

So will Mr. Olson's present position -- assuming it is the Mr. Olson -- help Mr. Pollard. Based on Olson's career, I can't imagine that it would.

Did he get a trial? A trial yes. Even in Castro's Cuba they get trials. A fair trial is something that can be debated.

You've got the wrong guy. I think Pollard should rot. It doesn't matter if he gave secret info to the Lion's Club. Once classified information leaves the national security apparatus, it is "in play" -- anybody can get their hands on it. Israel has no motives to keep US top secret information secret. To use a metaphor, they can just leave the folder open on somebody's desk.
The specifics of the information Pollard passed on or the fact that the recipient was a close US ally or even the fact that Pollard (despite receiving money) was motivated by ideology or motivated by outrage over the violation of an international agreement -- all of these are irrelevant to the issue at hand. This mitigates his case and merely keeps him from being blindfolded and getting a final cigarette.
It doesn't matter if he gave top secret toilet seat specs to the Lion's Club. The act of spying is the issue here -- nothing more.
