"his behavior in the Whitewater investigation and his current role in the War Against Terrorism raise questions about his ethics and his belief in the civil liberties of all people. Senators should question him carefully on both these matters."
Interesting comment, since I think he was one of the few in the Whitewater investigation/hearing who was serious about punishing the guilty. Dem senators should want to avoid roughing him up. ;-)
hole-in-one--perhaps someone has told you, but Chertoff knows a lot about Whitewater, probably enough to bury the Clintons, if he were turned loose to do it.

"Wonder how many Republicans understand what they have been trying to do to Bush since he was elected? "
If the truth about Bill and Hillary Clinton
doesn't get out, we'll be seeing Hillary run for President.
How can we stop her without evidence against
the Clinton Years?
Any body else would be grateful that they weren't
convicted of crimes, these two come back to
chew on our bones.
Oh, how I wish, it were just a matter of history.
We lived through those years, it's all over.
But it's not.
I know that we will be called into service
to fight against Hillary's Presidential campaign.
Rallys, signs, protests.
It would be such a help if the Senate and the Bush
Administration would also investigate the Clinton Crimes.
We can't do this alone.

He was brilliant during those WhiteWater hearings.
He's changed his look since then.......
Then...
Now....
To: justshe
You don't want to know the truth about
the Clinton Years?
Hillary is coming.
She even named her daughter
in honor of her ambitions...
"Chelsea Victoria" Clinton
"Shall-See Victory"
What will we see when Hillary
claims Victory over America?
I don't want to see that
happen to this Great Country.

Thanks for the shots. A few yrs ago, saw a photo of him, and he looked so thin, I was afraid he might be ill. He is one terrific guy, and I have enormous respect for him.

Why is Klayman playing?,/I>Perceptive question. The answer is and always has been that Klayman promotes HIMSELF....Repub fundraising must not have worked out. Just watch: Klayman switches back and forth...according to the political winds. He and JW are busybody nobodies.

I found that bio of Chertoff at a site called
Independent Judiciary.com
I agree that the passage in his bio that you referred does seem to be a a bit curious.
To: Joy Angela
Right now we are interested in getting Chertoff confirmed.Judicial watch isn't helping.

I understand. It's a difficult road we travel now,
we just want rest from the trauma of the Clinton Years,
and supporting President Bush is important.
I don't think he minds if the Clinton Administration
has to "suffer" a little bad press, though.
The Clinton's are shifty-sneaky attorneys. You have to
be careful what you say and how you say it.
If he could, I KNOW President Bush would have called hearings into the Last-Minute Pardons.
Matter of fact, evidence on that matter was due to be presented to Congress on the afternoon of September 11, 2001.
But, something else happened that day
that distracted from the regular agenda,
and Barbara Olsen, who had just written her
book about the Clinton Pardons "The Final Days"
died in the plane that smashed into the Pentagon.
Are the Clinton's Lucky, or what?
No wonder President Bush looks at Clinton the
way he does.
He knows what he's looking at.
And so do we.

You don't want to know the truth about the Clinton Years? From WHAT did you draw this conclusion?
She even named her daughter in honor of her ambitions...
"Chelsea Victoria" Clinton "Shall-See Victory"
Source?
What will we see when Hillary claims Victory over America?
Never going to happen.
I don't want to see that happen to this Great Country.
Then give Klayman a message. Tell him to stop the witch-hunts he has aimed at the current administration. You noticed, I am sure, that when donations from the right started drying up....he sought cases AGAINST the right in order to generate donations from the LEFT.
Klayman has become a media-whore and a donations-whore......very akin to Jesse Jackson when it comes to exploiting events/news to get his face-time and sound-bytes. Anything to get the publicity to get the donation spigot flowing again.

You asked for proof..
See

And Hillary couldn't win the Senate either.
To: Joy Angela
Now you're just trying to make a joke, right? That site says NOTHING about the REASON Hillary named Chelsea that you claimed.
Of course I know what her name is.....now I will ask you again:
SOURCE for your statement:
She [Hillary] even named her daughter in honor of her ambitions...
"Chelsea Victoria" Clinton "Shall-See Victory"

Thank you. I knew someone would say it better than I could. Judicial Watch, Larry Klayman...It is to laugh.
To: Joy Angela
"Way to go, Judicial Watch!"
What is good about them trying to sink a conservative nominee? We all know corruption took place during Clinton's term. Trust me, this nominee is no friend of that President.
To: Dog Gone; Joy Angela
Yup. And she/he is still not getting it.
Yo! The gentleman JW is trying to make trouble for is OUR GUY!

JW & LK have collected $65+ million in donations the past few years. This is just another fundraiser. Here are their numbers for 2001 from guidestar.org:
Revenue: $17,500,662
Expenses: $11,644,951
Assets: $18,329,602
Liabilities: $1,144,785
What court cases have they won using all this cash? Anyone know?

Politics is meaningless in the offices of Judicial Watch.
Larry is an equal opportunity scamster.
He flits like a debutante across all parties on the political dance floor--relentlessly in search of that magic green stuff from his gullible sycophants.
