Self-hating, masochistic, knee-jerk liberal Times, no doubt, will help Blair get published.

I can't wait to boycott the publisher of his story.

Someome give this spoiled brat a one-way ticket to Iraq and let him see the tourture chambers of Saddam Hussein. Maybe then he'll realize there is a world outside of himself, and see how many unfortunate, innocent people have truly suffered.

And the magazine who serializes it.

At first I thought Jayson would cause Howell Raines to lose his job.
Now I see-he's going to replace Howell Raines.

BTW, I do feel sorry for him in that he is addict. But, I do not feel sorry for him in terms of his uttern and complete failure to realize and acknowledge that he had substantial opportunities to make it in life.

Sometimes people who are put in water over their head don't drown-they get angry instead.

Ellis Cose's
book made no sense to me when I read it-but I must admit, it predicts Jayson Blair and describes him rather precisely.

When is somebody going to work up the courage to ask Blair why, if he hated working at the Slimes that much, he didn't just quit?
To: Liz
He writes of "how the frustrations of black men in this world can explode, crescendo into a huge rage that can manifest itself in some odd and sometimes unclear ways." Oh yeah, this'll sell. To a few liberals like Howell Raines. Oh . . . . . . . wait.

Simple. He had a good deal going. Getting big bucks, perks and scamming management by writing stories with national bylines while sipping cappuccino's at NY Starbuck's. He only discoverd now -- when there's big bucks in it for him -- that he hated working there.

Maybe Blair could get Jesse to ghost write.....Duh Revervund Jessah practically invented "the language of oppression" and has made millions on it for years and years.

Excellent point. The political correctness atrocity is the liberal MO for subverting the truth.

Jayson Blair is just like Clinton. The only thing he is sorry for is that he got caught.
