LOL! Is there anything good on Court TV at that hour? I always miss their best stuff, like Catherine Crier's show!

LOL..leaky....giving it offiically to the Geragos/McAllister firm, but maybe as you think, teasing the NE or other tabloids for cash for teasers?....
Actually, the Modbee wrote of this press release, and from prior people who contacted those reporters for stories, or they have PI's out too... lol.. (now everyone wants a PI)...Too funny that SP's mom, Jackie, asked Scaughty if he wanted her to pay for the PI. Yep mom, I want, need your money... I am spending mine, and they keep taking more!...;o)

I remember that. They had these dogs that supposedly can smell the smell of death even if the body is in water, or something.
Way back, early on, they found a blue tarp out by Brooks Island. At the time, the name of Brooks Island didn't mean much to me. It was only later that I heard that Scott had researched the tidal info for the area around Brooks Island.
We still have never heard whether that blue tarp was linked to Scott or Laci, or not.

"Scottie dear, are you eating your vegetables? Are you telling your defense lawyer what you're supposed to, sweetie? Do you want me to make some toast for you, dear? Do you want me to pay for your private investigator?"
I'm thinking some of these PI's are doing more than teasing. I'm thinking maybe some of them really are working for two people or entities in this case, at once. Like double agents. What's to stop them? (Now someone will post the California Code of Ethics for Private Investigators?)

Someone here asked about the wealth of the Peterson parents. Their house in Solana Beach is worth upwards of $600,000. They used to own a business and they used to live in Rancho Santa Fe, a very pricey neighborhood, so they're not hurting.
Personally, I hope they go broke defending their spoiled brat.

Regarding report on Scott giving Amber some custom made jewelry that may have been Laci's-Wonder when he gave her the jewelry, before or after Laci 'went missing'?
Could this be part of Gloria Allred's claim of the Oh My God factor in Amber's testimony? I opined the other night that perhaps Scott had given Amber some of Laci's jewelry, and thought it was highly creepy at the time. If true, I'm sure jury would agree.

In the other descriptions of the dog, it's called aging or eight years old--in this one, it's leaping. Certainly Goldens aren't incapacitated at eight, but they're not spring chickens either. Aside from the age factor, I wonder if the Peterson's dog was the exuberant type. I have an eight year old Golden, and he doesn't leap. We walk him every day and he just plods along enjoying the fresh air. Besides who would be afraid of a Golden Retriever, leaping or not?

In California, discovery is full and reciprocal. So any acceleration of the case also requires that the defense reveal their evidence.
Which might be the reason for the "hurry up". IMO, the latest batch of witnesses are as flawed as the Mitchells were. The difference is that they have been kept under wraps so that they could be sprung on the media and the courts at the same time. Defense may attempt to use them Tuesday in a hearing. Given a little time, the prosecution will easily discredit these "new" witnesses.
To: Devil_Anse
Don't forget about Geragos making comments about the GJ hearing and how he was going to require certain witnesses be questioned. He didn't sound like a prelim could be upcoming.
To: RGSpincich
Thanks, RG. I thought it was full and reciprocal in California courts.
A game within a game within a game. I wonder how MG keeps up. He is really going out on several limbs.

Certanily, no one who knows Goldens would be afraid of most of them. I worked in an animal clinic and the vast majority of the breed were friendly, not to mention beautiful to look at. I only saw a couple who were biters. The two and under dogs were more likely to jump on people when greeting them. The older ones were usually trained not to do so under non-play conditions. Do your older Goldens leap on you when on a leash?
I'm just wondering if the witnesses were seeing the right woman and dog.

I had not heard that they lost equipment. I'm attempting to stray back into my family's life, lol. Baseball and model rockets with little solid fuel rocket engines have been my main focus lately (they are so cool). Not a devil worshipper in sight, refereshing.

LOL... be good to try them out at the Altamont Speed Track.... ;o)

Eight year old Goldens don't act like the younger ones. Retrievers are puppies for a loooooong time, about two years. But when they start to grow up, they behave pretty well.
To: RightWingMama
They certainly are very good-tempered dogs! I can't really tell from the pictures, but McKenzie looks like a mix to me. I'm sure he is a fine, good-tempered dog, poor thing!
I read a story one time about a couple who had a Golden Retriever. As is usual with these dogs, the dog was just wonderful with the children. But one day one small child was playing with, or hugging, the dog, and the dog rose up like lightening and bit the child badly.
Are you ready to cry? They put the dog to sleep!! But then they found out that the dog had had a very vicious and painful ear infection, and that was probably why he wasn't himself.
Hey everybody---if your good-tempered dog does something out of character, like biting, have the vet examine him before you give him away, or send him to the SPCA, or, heaven forbid, put him to sleep!!
