"Most of Alabama has already been gobbled up by the Southern Appalachian Biosphere Reserve"
Guys, And, Alabama is not alone in being taken in by these RICO violating BUMS in conjunction with socialist governments everywhere! Peace and love, George.

I wasn't quite sure what UNESCO was all about when Bush rejoined forcing us to pay more dues to the UN.
Joining UNESCO the same day that Bush uttered the words "irrelevant" to the UN. That kind of reminds one of Clinton. Doublespeak.
If this gets alot of play in Alabama, the solid south may not be so solid for the Republicans in 04.

TT, You're right. And Don Young's {Republican from Alaska} raising of the gasoline taxes won't help much either. I wonder if the Republicans remember the last Republican President that only served one term because of "broken" promises? 92% approval after Desert Storm to less than enough to retain the Presidency.
Of course, I do agree with Pat Buchanan when he says, "The Republicans and Democrats are just two wings on the same bird of prey." Peace and love, George.

FTM, Thank you! Peace and love, George.

You mean they would rather trust one of the Demo dwarves to protect their rights against the UN?
To: DeaconBenjamin
Well, as ole George Wallace once said "There isn't a dimes worth of difference in the Democrat party and the Republican party."
If I remember correctly, that year Alabama went 3rd party.
Maybe the 3rd party will be Tancredo this time. Who knows?

Morgan was asked: If all the comments received from the people were negative, opposing the management plan, would the plan be abandoned? His answer: "No, the comments will be taken and duly noted."
Then ignored. We have unelected councils in Santa Cruz County, CA trying to underhandedly implement UN garbage. They have succeeded very well. When the public finds out about them and tries to attend the meetings, they go underground. If the public tries to reveiw the records and "surveys" they take, suddenly no one knows where the data is. They are working hand in glove with the county planning department traitors who put their political ideology above the rights guarenteed to citizens by the Constitution.

The UN will charge us a fee (tax) to visit our parks in time.
Another SCAM to keep the UN bureaucrats access to easy money and lazy do nothing jobs.
Forget the laci & golf news, this is a real story that can affect your life.

"Bush Rejoined forcing us to pay more dues at the UN"
Let me give you a little reality:
The US exit from UNESCO was a temporary event, done only to force reforms. Those reforms were made and the move to rejoin began. Even George Shultz, who was the prime mover on the exit, had signaled the need to rejoin and believe it or not, Jesse Helms supported the rejoining.
The House passed their bill with an appropriation to rejoin in mid 2001. The bill languished in the Senate for a year.
By mid 2002 the role of the madraas' anti-US educational curriculum in islamic countries had come to light and the Senate went to confernce with the House on the bill and it passed quickly. It was felt that UNESCO would be effective in countering the muslim teachings. There were also some strings attached on Freedom of the Press issues in Afghanistan.
Bush was pleased at the timing since he could use as multi-lateralism. Cheap multilateralism as well.
It was all settled by the Supreme Court during the Nixon Administration, when Congress appropriates the money, the Prez has to spend it.

Important links - I'd start with the one on the Federal Reserve. Once folks understand that, the rest of it becomes easier to understand.
Anybody know why freedomnews was banned? He was great.
And pardon me for opening bad wounds, but wasn't Chief Negotiator the FReeper who died from injuries after a fire bomb was thrown through his bathroom window?
