Happy Memorial Day Week-End!!!

I've been out trying to do some weeding and planting but it is getting darn hot out there.

I was outside cutting the grass, but I had to come in and cool off! I don't take the heat like I did when I was a young pup!

Update on my son who is in boot camp at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, he was in his 4th week when he came down with pnumonia and has been in the medical unit for the past two weeks. Got a message the other day that he was much better and was out running to get back ready to join a unit. He hopes that he is able to get back in the drum and bugle corps like he was before he got sick.

Looks as if we're all busy beavers outdoors this day!
The rain has finally relented and the sun is out - however, evening might bring another storm.
At least the ground is soft and pliable from all the rain, making it easier to work the beds...need to go out front and see if my zinnia seeds are sprouting, or if they 'drowned.'

It's a glorious day in America, though, and good it is to celebrate that with the Finest of Friends...

Kneezles, I'm sorry your son is having such a rough time with the pneumonia, and pray he recovers speedily.

Ugh! I am so tired of these ultra-large egos thinking they can do and say anything that they please and get away with it! That's why I continue to boycott Hollywierd 2 and a half years after the election. They continue to get away with it *and* continue to make money hand over fist.

Someday we're all going to get sick and tired of it and finally take some definitive action.
